Moment hors du temps dans un endroit bucolique et charmant. Un séjour dans une bulle hors du temps ! Si par sa nature et ses infrastructures l’endroit est d’une beauté et d’un confort, c’est surtout la gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire qui nous a marqué. Il a su répondre à toutes nos demandes, avec le sourire et a aucun moment nous n’avons eu l’impression de le déranger. Et en prime nous avons eu la bonne surprise de constater lors de l’entrée dans la chambre que nous avions été surclassés ! A refaire

Il e st inadmissible pour un 4 * de ne pouvoir prendre un petit déjeuner sur place il fallait le commander la veille mais personne ne nous l'avait dit !!!!!!
D'autre part on est arrivé en avance on a été mal accueilli
il fallait revenir a 14 h ou payer 25 euro supplémentaire.
pour un 4 * ce n'est pas très commerciale.
la chambre et le confort trè bien

O prédio do hotel é de 1680. Contudo o quarto é espaçoso, tem um banheiro moderno, ducha forte. Faltam tomadas para carregar o celular. O local é no interior da França bem bucólico. A vista da minha janela era para o jardim que é muito bonito. O atendimento na recepção foi muito gentil. O estacionamento é meio longe e no meio do mato, preferi estacionar na rua mesmo. O local tem muito charme.

Such a stunning oasis behind the big old gates of this former coaching inn - yes the garden is overgrown , but it’s charming . It’s owned by a family and they have 8 rooms available . All have 4 poster beds . Ours had a lovely terracotta tiles . We strolled up to the swimming pool for a dip and that was very refreshing - the indoor pool was closed which was ok for us . The private car park is located round the back but we also found parking right outside . Dinner was ok , it was a Sunday my braised endive starter with cheese and bacon was very tasty , my husband had smoked salmon . The mains were a bit lack lustre although tasty we have been spoilt on previous stays elsewhere . This place is very special and the owner goes beyond to make you feel at home . Lovely breakfast not a buffet brought to the table .

Je déconseille fortement les Hauts de Sainte Maure ! Nous avons eu un problème avec leur système de clé rendant impossible l’accès à notre chambre. Lors de l’incident, il n’y avait personne au sein de l’hotel et pire encore aucun numero ou nous pouvions joindre quelqu’un ( apres avoir payé la chambre 100 EUR la nuit, nous avons failli dormir dans la voitiure...). Le lendemain matin lorsque j’expose le problème aux responsables de l’hotel, absolument aucune remise en question de leur part, aucune excuses et un ton détestable... L’expérience détestable s’est poursuivie lorsque ils nous ont notifié le lendemain que nous n’avions pas 2 mais 3 chambres réservées ( oubli de notre part ) au lieu de nous le notifier lors du check in. Enorme manque de professionalisme et encore une fois, un ton hautain et agressif envers le client sans aucune temise en question. Bref, je déconseille a quiconque les Hauts de Sainte Maure ...

I had a little difficulty identifying the building after a long drive as there was little if any signage outside and my satnav was trying to take me to the other end of the street. But once I finally arrived everything was just perfect. The welcome was friendly, and the room was well furnished, stylish, and comfortable. I ate dinner in the beautiful dining room and the menu was imaginative and all food well cooked and presented. Delicious! Breakfast the following morning was also splendid with a great variety of food brought to my table and several checks to make sure that I was OK and had everything I needed. Altogether I was very happy with my choice for an overnight stay and will definitely return.
