Demetra Art Hotel

The Demetra Art Hotel has been operating since 2011, and the building itself was built in 1913 by architect Wilhelm Van Der Gucht, one of the brightest representatives of late eclecticism and Art Nouveau. The layouts of the hotel rooms preserve historical and cultural values, in the original design of the architect from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day. Demetra is an excellent choice for all those who appreciate the European level of comfort and attentive attitude of the staff, as well as for all those who love the atmosphere of St. Petersburg. Italian design studio Rossi Cattane has decorated all the rooms of the hotel in different styles from classical to Art Nouveau. The main staircase and rooms are decorated with reproductions by artists of the Erarta Gallery of Modern Art. The hotel is located in the city center, near Nevsky Prospekt. The main attractions of the northern capital are located nearby. The hotel offers various categories of designer rooms from the simplest (but not primitive!) single room "Piccola" to a chic attic view "Junior Suite" with a balcony. There is an unusual conference hall with a capacity of 40 people on site. A buffet breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00 at the Bistrot 44 restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Pets are allowed. The accommodation of the animal is paid additionally – 1000 rubles / day for each animal. Additionally, a refundable deposit of 5000 rubles is charged. Accommodation with pets is pre-agreed with the hotel.
