I chose to stay here instead of OGH which I felt was tired and overpriced and the Duke of Richmond looked more modern online. I was so wrong. Genuinely confused by the amazing reviews for this hotel. The room was horrible, the decor was absolutely hideous, marks all over the walls, the bed was a queen- though the room was advertised as a double, it was tiny, the bathroom light didn't turn on unless all of the other lights in the room were on. Just awful and in need of a complete refurb. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're >75 years old, which to be fair seemed to be their target market. The concierge was very helpful, hurried the reception staff along to allow me to check out and was super friendly, so thanks to him.
