We experienced atrociously childish and embarrassing behaviour from Caroline, the lady in charge of reservations. Long story short, IT issues resulted in us not receiving any communication about our reservation. We turned up at 1am to a closed hotel and had to stay elsewhere. These things happen (right?…) and we took it on the chin. We returned the following morning to Caroline, who ambushed us in the restaurant, where we were trying to recuperate before checking in. She was angry at our lack of communication (huh?) and tried to embarrass us (by shouting and shaming us) in front of a restaurant full of awkward guests. She even persisted after I calmly asked her multiple times to take the conversation in private. No shame. Then, once inside, the conversation consisted of her rolling her eyes, laughing, shifting around in her seat, mumbling in French to her husband behind us and huffing/puffing. It was a crazy display of immaturity and low EQ. I have no idea why she is front of house. Never experienced anything like it. Embarrassing. One of the Leroy brothers stepped in and kindly helped us. If it hadn’t been for him, we would have left. Stay away from Caroline or risk getting attacked.
