The location is remote. But the hinterland is vast. Unfortunately, it rained from the time I checked in until I left and I couldn’t go out for a walk.

Rochecotte is lovely. The rooms are beyond excellent. The staff was very helpful and even helped us book a dinner reservation.

Lunch unavailable despite being advertised as available to guests. Owner of the hotel damaged my car and refused refused to accept responsibility - the car park park is not safe. Bathroom full of mould. Front desk and management staff were extremely rude.

So amazing to stay in a chateau. We were in the pavilions rooms which were in the out house not the main building itself. Beautiful property and the dinner was delicious.

le lieu en lui même est toujours magnifique parc bien entretenu mais des petits détails ternissent l ensemble L exemple le plus frappant est l ascenseur qui est dans un état proche de celui d’un HLM la peinture de la porte côté passager et cet ascenseur jure avec le reste de la déco Point faible la restauration qui n est pas digne du lieu choix limité et certain portions nécessitant une loupe! Pas de nouveau service du vin une fois ,je pensais qu il appartient au personnel de re servir les clients et non pas qu ils doivent de lever pour se servir !! Contenu et choix du petit déjeuner très satisfaisant mais pourquoi tout regrouper ce qui génère un bouchon au centre de la salle surtout pour les clients placés dans la verrière

We came to this chateau for lunch. The chateau itself is beautiful, set in wonderful parkland; some parts manicured, others wilder. The chateau is well maintained and the public rooms which we saw were comfortable with lovely furniture. The staff were all welcoming and pleasant. Lunch was taken in a lovely restaurant with period features. A Saturday in October was quiet but the food was good and looked very appetizing on the plate. The langoustine were excellent as was the pomme tatin but some of the other dishes weren’t quite hot enough for our taste. Altogether a lovely visit.

What a special place. It is a unique property like no other. The rooms are huge and well done. King sized comfortable beds. The water is steamy hot. Very clean. The staff is friendly and speaks English well. Dinner was wonderful. The younger woman who served the cheese board was delightful.
