My husband and I stayed at La Chartreuse du Bignac for one night in late September. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. The hotel is charming, the rooms are well appointed - although our room was a bit quirky as the sink and shower were a few steps down from the bedroom area. Good size room, comfortable bed, and very quiet. We had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant - which we highly recommend. One of the better meals on our trip. Grounds are lovely and if it was warmer we would have taken advantage of the pool.

DISAPPOINTING this without doubt a superb location. However and an important However is that despite being paying guests the hotel would not accommodate us on either night of our stay didn't look very busy to us. We were looked at as if our money was less valuable shame they hadn't seen the bank staying and pedigree. Public loos slow to standard...my husband is nervous I post this now before leaving but think carefully unless you speak in a clipped tone ...we are just as valued guests. My husband who has undergone 3 years of cancer treatment was looking forward to a nice meal as a special treat...so very upset overall know your customer not just what you think you know! Back? Doubt it we had better service in isseiac by a 16 year old Dutch girl you have a few hours to remedy

We chose one of the ground floor rooms which had a lovely terrace overlooking the swimming pool. It was not a big room but it was comfortable

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à la Chartreuse du Bignac. Isolé de toute nuisance sonore, l’environnement est très apaisant. Ce calme se savoure particulièrement aux abords de la piscine extérieure qui offre une vue dominante et splendide sur la vallée. La chambre que nous occupions, très spacieuse, très calme et confortable aménagée et décorée avec soin nous a permis de nous reposer dans une atmosphère sereine. Les parties communes du Domaine offrent un accès aux différents salons mis à disposition des hôtes et nous plongent dans une atmosphère de château. Le restaurant gastronomique, à la décoration d’un style contemporain et zen propose un large choix de plats et permet la dégustation de mets raffinés et de grande qualité…Félicitations à l’équipe de cuisine et de service ! Enfin l’accueil très chaleureux des équipes et de Jean-Louis Viargues, le responsable des lieux, tous très attentifs au bien-être des visiteurs, nous ont permis de passer un très agréable séjour et nous amènent à recommander cet établissement. Une parenthèse enchantée. Déconnexion totale, charme du domaine, chambre décorée avec goût, très bonne literie, personnel attentionné, un dîner magique tant par les associations des produits que par la qualité et la fraîcheur des plats préparés avec soins. Que dire de plus ? Les 4 étoiles sont largement méritées. Merveilleux!!!

Nous avons séjourné dans ce domaine pour de courtes vacances. L'endroit est magnifique et reposant, l'accueil est extrêmement sympathique. Les chambres correspondent parfaitement au standing auquel on peut s'attendre dans un 4 étoiles, d'autant que nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassé. Nous avons également mangé au restaurant un soir: l'équipe de service est adorable et la nourriture somptueuse. Vraiment rien à reprocher. Merci!

Alors que nous étions en plein mois de février nous avons trouvé un lieu plein de charme, très bien entretenu et un accueil souriant avec Bastien Chambre spacieuse petit déjeuner copieux avec entre autres confitures maison et diverses variétés de pains dîner gastronomique et savoureux Au service Marina et Emmie professionnelles et souriantes Nous espérons y retourner aux beaux jours pour tester la piscine et sa vue sur un paysage à 180 degrés ainsi qu’un dîner au coucher de soleil recommandé par Emmie
