De passage pour une nuit, nous avons résidé au petit veneur, au calme avec tout le confort (sauf la climatisation… en panne), petit déjeuner malheureusement pas à la hauteur.

We were booked in a chateau room for 4 nights as we were attending a family wedding at the chateau. Our room was very basic and the beds were dreadful. I can understand its very old building, hence the room being basic, but there is no excuse for a rubbish bed when they are supposedly offering a hotel service. Also, what they offered for breakfast was pathetic and despite the website stating it was EU10 per person, they charged us EU20 per person. We only had breakfast there once, and didn't stay the 4 nights either - we left a day early - as the beds were so bad. Maybe if you stay in one of their gites its OK but avoid the chateau rooms.

Lovely places on the countryside,, surrounded by sunflower fields and. 9 hole golf course. A nice pool area to sunbathe and cool off.

Wij verbleven twee weken in een vakantiewoning met zwembad op het landgoed. Het landgoed is prachtig. De woning(Pavillion) was echter verouderd en is aan onderhoud toe. Het zwembad was echt vies. Het was duidelijk dat er geen controle had plaatsgevonden aangezien de schoonmaak van de woning ook echt niet op orde was. Na e-mail en telefonisch benaderen van de receptie werd het zwembad gereinigd en de woning nogmaals onder handen genomen. Er was toen echter al een volle dag verstreken. Het restaurant bleek bij aankomst gesloten. Het was duidelijk dat we buiten seizoen kwamen en daarmee bepaalde services op een lager pitje stonden. Wij hadden voor de prijs die wij betaalden echt meer verwacht. Wij zijn reeds vele malen in de Dordogne verbleven in prive villa’s met zwembad voor een lagere prijs tegen betere kwaliteit.
