Tru by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

I didn't like the fact that if you wanted parking you can either pay meter 2 dollars an hour from 8 in morning till 7 at night or you could do valet parking and that cost 55 plus tax a night. The price of hotel was cheaper then the parking. The gps going through the app they didn't give me alternative route when the street the hotel is on is blocked off due to construction. They did a housecleaning but forgot to leave towels so when I called from 9th floor they told me I had to come get them. The room was clean bed was comfortable they just need to tweek a few things

We were in town for a concert, and requested keys on the app. When we arrived at our check in time, we were met with around 100 people in line waiting to check in. We were told our rooms were not cleaned in time for us to check in. Overall very irritating experience

Our room wasn't ready until 6.5 hours after check in so we got very little sleep and couldnt bathe our small chilren. The bathroom door in the room wouldn't open or close (it was supposed to be an accessible room), so this was very dangerous. Upon check out the next mor ing, we learned that the valet lost the keys to our vehicle. I missed a whole days work due to this. I was promised compensation for the severe inconveniences, and never heard back from them.

It was a beautiful place.And we had a view, the rooms were clean and the service was great

The property is NOT maintained well and it’s understaffed. We arrived at around 9 pm one room was ready. When I asked for the second room the front desk looked surprised that I had two room reservation. Then after few minutes he said the room was not ready . We waited another hour for the second room. Next day another guest said she checked in and enter her room on floor 6 ( on June 6) other guests were in her room. She went back to the front desk. I am not sure what happened next. The valet parking staff ( one guy) was overwhelmed. Plan to wait long time for your car. Most of the staff were friendly but that hotel need better management and training.
