Chipman Hill Suites - Yeats House

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent service and hospitality of the staff. The atmosphere of the hotel is filled with coziness, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and unwinding. The room we stayed in was spacious, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The panoramic windows provided incredible views of the surrounding landscape, while the plush bed and impeccably clean linens created the perfect conditions for our stay. I cannot fail to mention the amazing amenities of our room, including a separate kitchen, a bathroom with a jacuzzi and shower, and a huge relaxation area with panoramic ceilings.

I very much enjoyed my recent 2 week stay in suite 1 of this beautiful historic property in uptown Saint John. This was a return stay. The penthouse 1 bedroom suite contained everything I needed for my extended stay. The suite is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The full kitchen was well equipped and this was important as I prepared most of my own meals due to pandemic restrictions. Even though the property is in a city center location it is very quiet. The staff could not have been more supportive. Erica, the Guest Relations Manager and Shayrah, the Innkeeper were readily available whenever required and a pleasure to deal with. I had an issue with the internet service on a very stormy day and Shayrah arrived on the scene within minutes to help out. I highly recommend this property!

Our stay at 9 Chipman Hill was superb! Susan went out of her way to fulfill our request of two suites plus a host suite for our group at a reasonable rate. The conveniently located facility with free parking had all the amenities we required for a comfortable stay in the uptown core. Susan’s recommendation of the Union Club for lunch was a wonderful culinary experience. I would recommend Chipman Hill Suites to anyone who visits Saint John. I enjoyed my one week stay at Chipman Suites. Mary and Erica went out of their way to accommodate my needs and were always available for anything that came up. The room was always clean, comfortable and neat thanks to the keepers. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in a homey environment in St John !

Sept-Nov 2023 is when I stayed at 9 Chipman Hill . I was in Saint John for the Irving Refinery Shutddown for 43 days. My stay was very comfortable, as good as it could be when you are away from home. To start with Erica was quick in replying to any questions(no matter how small), very friendly and accommodating. Communication either during or after business hours was a good experience. The check in instructions were very clear and easy . She was great in explaining the parking options. The parking garage on Peel Street is a couple a minute walk to the building, but I didn’t have to worry about my car once I was parked. The building is a security building with a code to enter. The unit I was in was fully contained with dishes, a comfortable bed, cozy chair and a smart tv. They even supplied toilet paper and tissue, hotel sized shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Wifi is also included. The unit is on the small side but perfect for my needs. Once a week your unit is housecleaned, even your bedding is changed and they make your bed. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the unit!It is a quiet building also. An added bonus was it is located Uptown. Walking distance to many restaurants , bars,Container Village, walking trail along the waterfront, and a few steps away from the pedway which takes you to Harbour Station where you can watch a good hockey game. This is my second time staying with Chipman Hill Suites and I will be looking them up again next time I need a home away from home . Thank you to Erica, housekeeping and all staff !
