The room was very clean. Flexible check-in and out. We arrived there very early morning, hoping to leave our luggage, but Hakim, the owner, let us have the room instead. We really appreciate it because we left our home at 4am and were so exhausted. WiFi was good too. My friend and I had to work remotely for a few hours on our checkout day, so we did it in a waiting room(shared space) with cosy sofas. and there was no problem with WiFi. About 10 mins walk to the town centre and a small local shop (Morrisons) is within 3 min walk. Overall, we’d like to thank Hakim for a warm welcome!

We came over to Jersey as foot passengers on the ferry. The guest house was in easy walking distance of the port (town) and easy to find. We were met by the friendly house keeper, who issued our room keys. The rooms were clean and comfy. We were on the top floor and whilst it was a little hot, we were provided with a fan. Whilst there is no breakfast included , there is a Co-op supermarket less than 2 min walk away where you can buy pain au chocolat and croissants etc.

A basic Guest House but pleasantly clean. Rooms were well equipped and the Caretaker, Hakim, lived adjacent to the main building and was easy to contact. He was very helpful and very welcoming. There are quite a few shops close by which is important because there are no cooking facilities available at the Guest House. It is also ideally situated for the main Shopping Area of St Helier.

The Guest house was clean and comfortable,the staff very helpful.Very quiet and private.Fully equipped with TV . We had a pleasant stay . Two good restaurants food available there. Close to shops and the harbour where the shopping centre is and the bus station. Well connected by bus routes and taxis are available . Very good value for money Only marred by having no breakfast

I would never stay in this guesthouse again. The rooms are extremely old. The furniture is old, worn and sometimes worn. The mattresses are either very soft or you can feel every spring. The pictures in the rooms are faded. All in all, nothing has been invested in this house for years. I have been staying in B&Bs and guesthouses for over 25 years. Apart from a terrible experience in Dublin in 1998, I have never left early. Here I have. One positive thing to mention is that the city center is within walking distance and there are 3 parking spaces at the house.

Just had the most fabulous time in Jersey. Stayed at this guest house and Jackie (the owner) was amazing. The best breakfast ever and as much as you like. Helpful in every way. Got a problem ask Jackie she can sort it !! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We stayed here for a week on our first visit to Jersey. Lovely comfortable room with everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely; set us up for the day! We couldn't possibly eat everything offered!!

I spent several days visiting my cousin and his wife in st helier and stayed for 3 nights at the Alister, it is a lovely, clean and friendly place, i had the Double room with ensuite which was very nice, Jackie and James were so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic, definitely be going back, also very reasonable price and only about 11/12 minute walk to the main centre of town and the shops and restaurants Keith pain
