Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa

Visited the Grand Jersey Hotel for dinner. The food and wine were exceptional and the service was amazing. Credit for the service goes to Lewis who is incredibly professional, friendly and a true asset to the hotel. Elisa was out waitress and provided fantastic service as well. Thank you both.

The hotel was luxurious.. very impressed with the spa facilities. Good size swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Hotel staff left a gift for our anniversary and were always on hand for anything we needed. In room facilities all 1st class as was the food served in the hotel restaurant and at breakfast.

This was our second visit to The Grand as we so much enjoyed our first. On the first occasion we had a sea view room on the 2nd floor which was delightful. However on our second visit we had a sea view room on 3rd floor which was pokey. So much so we couldn’t put up the luggage rack as it obstructed the wardrobe. Having said all that the staff are excellent and the breakfast choice is fabulous.

On arrival we were met with a friendly reception staff and were checked in then introduced to Luke the concierge who took our cases to the room. When he showed us the room it was a wow experience, great room with a great view. The room was very clean with a coffee maker and tea making facilities. The bed was a king size bed, extremely comfortable. Breakfast did not disappoint, we were looked after by the restaurant manager and the waiters during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, specials can be ordered from the menu or there was a buffet, either choices were delicious. The front of house staff,concierge, waiters and room service, and cleaners were all very helpful and extremely polite. A superb 5 star hotel with a well deserved reputation.

One of the best hotels on island - excellent and friendly staff always with a very sincere welcome back, great rooms - the beds are amazing!, some of the best food in any hotel, great spa facility and pool and amazing location right on the front in St Helier. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We picked the hotel because of the location as we were visiting my father who lives in st Helier we had a lovely warm welcome by Luke . Our first room on the ground floor was was a little dark so I asked to change to a a higher floor sea view and for room 221 which was lovely great views out to Elizabeth castle . Breakfast was plentiful and stab and the team in the restaurant were very obliging .we had a car with and although parking is minimal we managed to get a spot each time . I will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients who are looking for a relaxing break with many amenities Ont while doorstep

Excellent location! Rooms very clean and spacious. Food was of high standard with great service. Tried the Elizabeth restaurant which was a great experience with superb ambience and service. And I can’t thank the staff enough. They were extremely helpful and eager to help with always a smile on their face! Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would also like to mention Luke’s name in this review, who was of great assistance to us.He gave us a tour of the hotel, and we discovered the private cinema hall and watched a movie. Spa experience was great too. Definitely coming back again.

Just had another stay at this lovely hotel. We visited for the airshow and really wish we could have stayed longer than our two nights. The hotel is absolutely amazing. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. The food, especially the airshow lunch, was incredible and delicious. What sets the Grand apart for us is the extremely friendly, pleasant and efficient staff. Nothing is too much trouble and if they can help, they will. A special mention for Alvis, who looked after us very well during our stay. The terrace was an ideal spot to view the airshow from. All in all another fantastic stay at the wonderful Grand Jersey. Thanks to all, we will be back!

Booking the Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa was THE saving grace of a turbulent week in Jersey. Torrid weather - monsoon rain and gale force winds all week. We chose a superior double room with ocean view and were lucky to be given a front facing room with furnished balcony. The room was delightful, with excellent facilities - which was great considering how much time we had to spend in it due to the weather! We never got to sit in the sun on the balcony but the view through the window was lovely. Oh to have been there in the sunshine! Bed, bathroom, toiletries, tea/coffee, fridge, room safe etc all first class. Beautiful beautiful bed linen and fresh fluffy towels replaced each day. Robes and slippers in room. Ample wardrobe space. The hotel was very busy but we always found a space in the lounge to sit and relax out of the rain. Breakfast excellent as was dinner in the Elizabeth restaurant. The staff were so friendly - everyone tried to make everything feel right despite the weather - couldn't be more helpful. One waited anxiously in the foyer until he saw us return safely on a particularly stormy night. We used the busses a lot - out of the rain - and met people who had booked a hotel some distance away from the seafront who, on passing our seafront hotel on the bus as it stopped outside, said they wished they were staying there! We booked a hire car for 3 days - the hotel has limited car parking but is happy to reserve for you in advance at no cost. Given the atrocious weather, having an indoor spa pool was a bonus for those who can swim - sadly we can't. The Grand Hotel is more 'Gentlemen's Club' than modern but actually the more cosy and comfortable for it. We would highly recommend it...and may be back some time but not in September! Thanks team The Grand for making our stay as good as it could be in such appalling weather.
