Sai Yok Hotels with Swimming Pools

Four of us stayed at the River Kwai Resotel resort over the Christmas holiday. Our rooms were bungalow-style with a shared porch. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The shower was very large and the amenities were adequate. They replenished the coffee/tea daily in addition to the waters. Even though other bungalows are very near, they do a great job of landscaping to block the views between them. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant is quite good, especially with its Thai offerings. They have 2 nice swimming pools. The one near reception is a smaller size while the one to the west of the main area is quite large. We enjoyed many swims. There are bikes available for use on grounds. They have some lounge chairs below at their dock. You can arrive by boat or car. The drive in is quite long and through a very rural area. It's quite amazing when you reach the end of the road and see this entire resort unfold. We spent some time and a little money at the neighboring Mon village. Walking up to the caves at the small, national park was also fun. Lots of up & down walking at the resort, too, as it's built into a steep, river valley hillside. Other than the bats at the cave, we didn't see much wildlife. There are a nice assortment of birds attracted to this resort area, however, and the morning serenade is lovely. They do have a small snack hut but the prices reflect that you are quite some distance from any competition. We all enjoyed our stay and do plan to return another time.

The accommodation is located in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, convenient to travel. There is enough parking and then from the parking lot, a short walk to the room. The accommodation has both a sheet and a room type, where the rooms on the shore have a private swimming pool as well. There is a restaurant that is delivered directly to the room, good taste, inexpensive. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained, there may be a problem with water leakage a little at the bathroom. As for the mattress, the view is considered beautiful, and you can clearly see the river view and have a natural view as well, as well as the swimming pool in front of the room is beautiful, allocated as well. It is an affordable price compared to a room with a private pool elsewhere. There will be only one thing to complain about that the breakfast is provided as if it is less, not enough, and the main equipment is lacking. Such as cutlery Makes you have to walk and ask for another one, which here must be quickly improved and fixed. For serving breakfast in the morning, I recommend this. In case you will serve food in a box, you must prepare your equipment and make it more convenient. The Nordic one-time and disposable is neat to match the box meal that you have prepared. In the dishes, if you don't need to use the dishes that you have to go back to wash, you should use it once and throw away if you want to keep distance. Because it's like this, you still have to come back and bring the cutlery back. Still, it is a waste of time and it is a bad mood. I should have breakfast as well because it is sheep out and there is no spoon, no fork. Serving box food must be considered and meticulous about the comfort of the customers who come to stay as the main thing. If the appearance is done in a request, it will look not okay and the guest will accept it. I can realize that you don't care as much as you should, so if you have to serve food in a box, you will disturb you to take care of the availability of dining equipment again. As for the atmosphere of the room and the cleanliness, everything else is good. Please improve this.

We stayed here 4 nights in a deluxe riverview Onsen villa. The location is really fantastic, you are really far away from the ‘civilized ‘ world. Complete surrounded by jungle, mountains and the River. The villa itself has a awsome breathtaking riverview, and the private hotspringpool is devine. Specially at sunset, only sound of the birds and animals in the jungle. The villa interior is a litlle dated, so the bathroom is, no 4 star quality. The boys from the daily cleaningservice were very very good and very friendly,it was always very well done. Compliments. Reception and check in could be much better en more welcoming. There was a litlle unfriendly uninteresting atmosphere. The restaurant outside near the river could be wonderful, but the service and food could be much better. But we were lucky with the extreme friendly service of the young boys Tuk Ta and Win, and some others too. Thanks also the resortmanager, who was taking a lot of care with us. The whole pool area should need a renovation. It is such a beautiful spot near the lake, but dirty sunbeds, mostly no place to relax there, often no towels near the pool, and a lot of things are a litlle old and dated. The room is clean, the food is delicious, the breakfast is very good. The dinner menu is quite a bit. Soft bed, comfortable sleep There is a tub in the room, a semi-outdoor bathroom, and the service staff is very good. But the large swimming pool is a selling point and cannot be used because the pool is green. Maybe with a big pool maintenance is quite difficult Customers should be informed before checking in that if it rains a lot lately, they may not be able to use the pool. And many central areas lack maintenance such as swimming pools, golf courses, and bathrooms in various places. Quite dilapidated

Boutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.

There are very nice gardens and lawns, and the food in the restaurant is not bad. No one in the reception area speaks English, so no one can tell how to use the hotel facilities, missed some hotel activities, the hotel massage and pool are closed. There are so many moths and mosquitoes at night, it will be a bit disturbing to eat. The location of the hotel is next to the River Kwai and the Thai-Myanmar Railway, which is very distinctive. Suitable for self-driving.
