I stayed here for a conference in Chandigarh. The hotel facilities themselves are fairly basic - there is a coffee shop in the lobby and a bar and restaurant in a separate block. All three are fine, but unexceptional in every respect. The rooms, however, are very spacious and well-appointed, with a large bathroom and all the usual amenities. The bed is large and super comfortable. The TV has a zillion channels, but almost no international channels like BBC or CNN. The free broadband was fast, so stream a movie on your laptop! The main drawback with the hotel is that it is miles away from other facilities, like shops and restaurants. It is in a quiet residential area, with apartments all around under construction. It is quite a long way from Chandigarh - 30 minutes+ by taxi. It was fine for the conference, as most of the delegates were staying in the hotel and all the conference meals were also in the hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it for tourists visiting the city.

The stay at the Hotel is comfortable, even in the wedding season they make sure to provide isolated and comfy rooms to travelers. Complimentary Breakfast is also a must try, have a lot of options for everyone. My server Arpit was also pro active during the breakfast table and made sure we get to try something from their kitchen too.

The property has maintained what one expects from TAJ hospitality. From check-in through check-out was an excellent experience.
