Very comfortable room & bed; large Smart tv with steaming options. Outdoor pool was clean and inviting. Parking fee (disclosed) is $10, which is ridiculous for this sub-optimal area of Sacramento - 4 miles from Cal Expo. Imagine this is their workaround for not being able to charge some other junk like a "resort fee." Front desk agent was flat and boring but got me the keys to the room fairly swiftly.

Over the years we stay often at Hamptons, mostly like this one, out of city center to avoid high rates and parking fees. However, this hotel implemented recently a parking fee (10$) despite being 15-20 min drive from downtown Sac. That's one star down. Another star goes for a pretty dirty pool we didn't want to use in that condition. Otherwise, all was OK to standards we're used to. Room was clean and modern and seems recently renovated. Try to get a room opposite the hotel's front part which is close to freeway. Breakfast OK for US standards. Young receptionist Ana was kind and pleasant to talk to.

My big beef with this hotel is their $10 per night parking fee - for self parking in the hotel's surface parking lot. What a rip-off!! The parking fee is mentioned on their website, if you really search for it (which I did after being surprised by the fee when I checked in). This extra charge should be (1) included in the hotel's nightly charge, so we see it up front when booking and/or (2) mentioned front and center in bold, extra large print on the hotel's home page. Other than the ridiculous parking fee, the hotel accommodations were comfortable and super clean. The rooms are newly renovated. My room's fresh, modern decor, with window shades rather than curtains, a walk-in shower with rainfall showerhead and a comfy bed, was great. Although the hotel was busy with a mix of families and business professionals, my room was quiet. The breakfast buffet was clean and well-stocked. Front desk staff were OK but not great, sometimes so busy chatting with each other that guests had to interrupt for service. When I checked out, the front desk rep was so busy on a personal phone call that I had to interrupt her to request a copy of my receipt, which she printed out and shoved at me while still yacking on the phone. Hilton, I hate the new Zero shampoo, it makes my hair feel like dry straw. Please bring back Neutrogena!

The hotel room was recently remodeled and is truly functional and beautiful; however, I was quoted a price of $155 for Thursday night (3 adults, 2 small dogs) and $168 for Friday night. On checkout, I was shocked to get a bill for $628!! Turns out that this hotel charges $75 PER PET, PER NIGHT and $10 a night to park in the parking lot outside your room!! No one EVER mentioned these charges, nor the $18.60 and $20.16 a night “Occupancy Tax” or the $1.55 and $1.68 “Tourism Infrastructure” Tax or the $4.64 and $5.04 “Tourist Assessment “ Tax. My best advice is to vacation elsewhere. I won’t be staying here again.

Easy to locate from the freeway (enter/exit) numerous parking spaces as well as plenty of electric charging stations and has a security guard patrolling the property which gives you sense of security.

The accomodations were clean and perfect! You have to stop by the for breakfast and meet Anita who has been employed there for 20 years! She is so sweet and wonderful! Don't forget to tip your housekeeper and Anita!!!!

I have conflicting thoughts on this hotel. The first time I stayed, they were very accommodating to my preferences and even gave me my upgrade as a diamond member. The second time I stayed, when asking for the upgrade per my member benefits I was informed they had nothing available. When I arrived my room heater was no working so I was switched to a different room by the overnight attendant ( who was amazing ) to accommodate the heat issue… I noticed the Parking lot was empty and happened to ask the night attendant just out of curiosity, “ does your hotel have any suites available for tonight in case one of my family members need it ?” She informed me that they in fact had suites available and to let her know if they would want to book. I told her thank you, and she was unaware the real reason I asked that question. However, I had to spend half of my night working on paperwork and any time I needed to do anything in their business area, she would be very accommodating and helpful. She even made fresh hot coffee!!! She was absolutely amazing !! The Following morning, I messaged the front desk who was also the same attendant I asked about the upgrade and was denied, I asked for a late check out… also a perk of diamond hilton member (or suppose to be). I was again denied and said they could not accommodate that request. As far as the cleanliness of the rooms they were 10/10 … they are in process of remodeling so its understandable and to be expected that there are some things taped off or being painted … the breakfast 10/10. The location is next to interstate but the rooms are 8/10 soundproof … The rooms are smaller but maybe that’s because it wasn’t a suite… ? If it wasn’t for the over night attendant being as helpful and amazing as she was, my rating would drop significantly…

Stayed here for a week on a work trip not by my choice. Check-in was easy but was given a handicap accessible room, not sure why. The room itself was in need of some major modernization. It felt dark and musty, with carpet that felt like it had been there forever. Though the room was clean it just didn't feel like it. Bathroom needs updating and was showing its age with rust in the shower and molding falling off. The room was extremely noisy and could hear the people next door yelling and people above me doing god knows what. The gym seemed to be getting an upgrade. It had a peloton bike in the gym but it was not set up so you could not even log into your own account and there were no weights in the gym. Best part of the hotel would be the breakfast in the morning. It changed everyday and with good options that were fresh, If i had to go back I would look to stay at something with some modern amenities,
