Hotel Alpin Superior ★★★
"The rooms were expensive, the bedding was poor quality, and our room was cold. We even had to jury-rig the curtains just to get them to close properly. But the worst part was the incredibly unpleasant manager. We were heading to the spa around 1 PM, dressed in our bathrobes, when we ran into him in the hallway. Without even a greeting, and in a very disagreeable tone, he just blurted out: 'The spa opens at 3 PM!!!!' We truly didn't feel welcome at this hotel. When you're charging 280 (currency implied) for a room, you really need to deliver on quality bedding, proper maintenance, and overall good service. A huge shout-out, however, to the young woman who handled both the shuttle service and housekeeping. She was incredibly cheerful, welcoming, and truly presented the hotel in a positive light—something it desperately needs."
The Capra Saas-Fee ★★★★★
"Everything was absolutely perfect and especialy the wellness centre and its crew. After 4 weeks of hiking i was absolutely pleased by the massage i received from Theo. One of the best i ever had : it was precise, sensitive, extremely attentive and professional. I recommend to everyone to stay at the Capra."
Hotel Etoile ★★★
"Hotel Alpenlodge Etoile is a diamond in alps! A wonderful hotel with wonderful people! Thank you! the staff made us feel like family."
Revier Mountain Lodge Saas-Fee ★★★
"The Location is great direct on the Gondola The room was ok a bit smaller as I expected not big enouph to spend time in the room Bathroom was fine I found it a bit on the high price for the service and the comfort The restaurant is good but sometimes difficult to get a reservation and the selection could be a bit more especially I was missing pasta Even so the location for skiing is great there is nothing around for Dinner"
Hotel Bristol ★★★
"This is an incredibly nice hotel to stay at. The first thing that stood out was the price compared to other hotels was very attractive, especially as it included breakfast and the Saastal Card which gives you free unlimited use of cable cars and buses - absolute bargain. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and always happy to help with any queries you may have. I was also recommended some incredible local spots to visit as there are lots to choose from. My room was always very clean, I felt for a single room it was reasonably sized - it was cosy, very comfortable with well placed plug sockets and the bathroom was great. The breakfast at this hotel is absolutely delicious. It's a small buffet but everything is fresh and super tasty. Nice views from the really well presented restaurant too! Location of this hotel is phenomenal. It was nice and quiet at night, and you are within 5 mins of shops, restaurants and the cable car stations. It's a lovely easy 10 min walk to the main bus station. Literally right at the back of the hotel you're already on hiking trails to some beautiful spots. There is also a bike rental place immediately outside the entrance ramp to the hotel. Although Saas Fee isn't the biggest of villages, Hotel Bristol's location is great. In terms of things to improve, these aren't complaints but little suggestions that would have made my stay a 10/10 instead of 9.5/10. Some shower gel or more than just 1 small soap would have been great but it's also no problem to just buy your own shower gel. The other thing would be if the room had a minifridge, although I realise that's something that much more expensive hotels tend to do. I was very happy with my stay here and would definitely stay again with no hesitation. "
Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Relais & Châteaux ★★★★★
"Fantastic hotel, staff were so attentive, spa was amazing. Could not fault anything. We were on a half board rate and we were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. Highly recommend"
Boutique Hotel la Gorge ★★★
"Our annual ski boys trip to Europe this year was to saas fee, Switzerland, as we had already done all the household name resorts. We found, booked and started a week this month at the relatively unknown Hotel La Gorge, it was simply the most impressive 3* hotel I’ve ever experienced. Completely and beautifully reimagined in recent years, the setting (on a rock face over a gorge) the architecture, the all-custom fittings and furnishings were really jaw-dropping, unexpectedly beautiful. The restaurant was the a total surprise, food, menu, prep, service all way above. Unfortunately that secret is out, and we were only able to book 2 dinners there over the week. Young Michael, who runs the place is tireless, friendly, helpful, as were the rest of the staff including charming Marvin, the front man in the restaurant, and staffers Nicole and others. Welcoming, helpful, all. The suites are beautiful, comfy, quiet. Getting there takes some attention to travel details, but Michael was able to pick us up with luggage at the end of the road into Saas Fee, which has no car traffic. More on the cute friendly town later, but book Hotel La Gorge now, before everyone else discovers it. Except for lack of a spa, it’s a 5* experience for a 3* price. Short walk to the ski lifts, and to dozens of fun little restaurants. These folks know hospitality. They only lack mass marketing. That will find them."
Wellnesshotel Schweizerhof ★★★★
"The hotel is wonderful, the location is incredible, and the mountain view is priceless!!! The hotel is perfect! The pool is lovely, with a hot tub!! The breakfast was 10/10, and the salmon was amazing!"
Hotel Christiania Saas-Fee ★★★
"Ideal location, spacious and clean family room, exceptional customer service, all employees were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable holiday. We highly recommend the Christiana hotel."
