Hotel Christiania Saas-Fee

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the sweet receptionist, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. However, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. Our room had very old furniture and was quite dusty. To our surprise, we found clumps of dog hair in the room, despite not having a dog ourselves. When we brought these issues to the staff’s attention, they were promptly addressed and the room was cleaned. We appreciated the good view from our room. The location of the hotel was also convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, while the staff was lovely and the breakfast great, I hope the hotel can improve its cleanliness to enhance the overall guest experience.

We had a short break in Saas Fee and we looked for a centrally located hotel, with breakfast. Our stay was great from start to finish. The welcome was warm and we were given the Saas Pass rapidly which enabled us to travel on the cable cars free of charge. Our room was simple, but clean and comfortable and we even had a small balcony. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice including various home-made products, including butter, yogurt, birchermuesli and jam. There is a restaurant which serves pizzas and Asian cuisine. We ate here in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed Thai dishes. I can recommend this hotel without a second thought.
