Reception staff Mike & Laura were very helpful, the hotel is very central with a short walk to ski hire, gondolas and apres ski.
Good breakfast in the morning and hotel also has a swimming pool.

lovely staff and homely hotel. Special thanks to the man in the lobby who helped me a lot and was very friendly. I was alone having a very difficult day and wanted to get home right away. he helped me plan my trip to munich to get me safe home back to iceland. Thank you

Our third year staying at the Berger's Sporthotel. This charming family run retro Hotel is just great, the staff are warm and friendly and greeted us like old friends when we arrived, most of them were here when we first visited three years ago and it was a pleasure to find them still working here! The food is lovely, generous and varied, with a choice of three main courses each day. The choice of salad starters is amazing, and the desserts and cheese board too tempting to resist. Breakfast is a self service buffet with everything you could ever wish for, to start the day! Our rooms were clean and welcoming, and serviced every day. The swimming pool is a great way to ease the aches and pains of the day's skiing, and the spa area with sauna and steam room a relaxing treat. All of which is included in the price of the room. We will definitely be back next year!

A very quirky hotel, full of character with lovely, helpful staff - subject to a bit of eccentricity. We had a very large room in the hotel Annex (across the street). Nice big beds, great bathroom, nice private balcony (702, if you fancy it). Pretty quiet at night, although this is a hotel in the very centre of town, so there is some street noise late at night. Nothing an earplug couldn't cure. The room was a bit too hot for us, but we were able to turn off the heating at night and swap to lighter duvets, so that was fine. If you are in the Annex, you do of course have to cross the street to use the facilities - sauna, pool and restaurant/bar. We loved the pool and sauna. We were half board and it was generally good food, especially the buffet selections, which meant you could make up for a duff main course with buffet options. The hotel is presided over by a wonderful owner (Frau Berger), who comes into the restaurant most nights to chat with guests. A great character and very charming. If you are tired of bland hotels and want something characterful, this is the place for you.

We had a fantastic visit at Berger Sporthotel. The staff couldn’t be any better. A special thank you too Mike, Laura and Fernandos who made our stay so welcoming and we even meet in the bar for few drinks. The owner Frau Berger is an inspiring Lady. She made sure she walked around every evening to the restaurant and spoke to the guest personally and introduced herself to each new guest. The hotel is fantastic it had a boot room to dry out your boots a sauna and spa and swimming pool which is what you need after a long day of Snowboarding. The food in this restaurant is absolutely amazing and the bed is heavenly to sleep in. Thank you so much and I was sad to leave.

Als je een dag wend is het best prima, de entree is zeer slecht en de stijl lijkt op een nacht club, lekker zwembad, eten was goed, hadden kamer 322 wat zeer mooi en netjes was. Vriendelijke personeel, zit wel veel verschil in kamers, in grote en vernieuwing

The hotel location, regarding ski lift access is ideal, within a 5 minute walk of all lifts. However if you’re in a room at the front of the hotel you will be subject to listening to drum and bass music all night long till gone 3am. The food is nothing to write home about. Currently in the middle of a weeks stay and can honestly say it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The room we were put in is barely big enough for one person. The hotel across the road has a live dj in front of it playing music that is blaring into the room clear enough as if we were at the party late into the night. There seems to be absolutely no Soundproofing of the rooms at the front of the hotel. The breakfast has a very poor selection and the evening meals make us regret booking half board. The rooms have very few electrical sockets so you have to charge your phone at the other side of the room. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is that you can walk to the ski lifts within 5 minutes.
