The Lookout Rye ★★★
"The hotel was actually the very worst I have walked into . filthy. We spoke to reception and were given assistance beyond helpful tariq was patient polite understanding and helpful. We eventually got a beautiful room in the flagship hotel on the main street. What a beautiful place we eventually stayed."
The George in Rye ★★★★
"Great location and a lovely place to stay in Rye. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews of the restaurant our meal was very enjoyable with excellent service. The service at breakfast was not so attentive. Should not have to ask for a spoon to eat your cereal."
Flackley Ash Country House Hotel ★★★
"Staff was very lovely. Location was perfect lots to do if you have a car Daniel the manager was lovely recommended us nice beaches to visit . We came for a weekend of relaxation and we ended up leaving feeling relaxed . So thank you to the lovely staff"
The Ship Inn ★★★★
"A great pub hotel. Nice rooms wth excellent modern bathrooms. Very helpful staff. A great breakfast too. I enjoyed my stay there."
The Hope Anchor ★★★
"The view from the window of the room is very comfortable"
Mermaid Inn ★★★
"Very good experience"
The River Haven Hotel ★★★
"On the river bank, the traffic is very convenient if you drive by yourself, and parking is free. This is really rare in the UK. The service staff is very good, the rooms are very traditional and rustic country hotel layout, with the key to open the door, very old, but the health is quite clean. Breakfast is in the form of ordering, make an appointment to go, according to the portion, we order a traditional English breakfast, bacon toast sausage potatoes roast mushrooms and tomatoes. There are quite a lot of people living, and the skin color is that our husband and wife are the only non-Europeans."
5 East Street ★★★★
The Kings Head Rye ★★★★
"Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely lady. Our room was the ruby room and very pretty too. A generous sized room very warm and fresh. Bathroom was ok on the small side but adequate for 1 night. Spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked. A few negative bits : double bed was 2 stitched together so I did roll in the middle although it was really comfortable. There was a noise all night approx every 10minutes lasted seconds. impacted on our sleep slightly. Dinner was a good menu choice- steak was good. My Korean chicken was soo salty I couldn't eat it all. Prices were a bit expensive. The staff work really hard and are really friendly . Free on site parking too."
