The most beautiful place at the sea in Istria. Perfect location for sport activities and relax.

First, why not 5? Well, there is something “cliquey” about the place. Not quite welcoming enough, for such a “machine”. Also, they wouldn’t cool down the room for us, and it was notably hot in our vessel. Alas, plenty of great reasons to stay at ‘Eden’ including: - excellent grounds and facilities including gym/saunas & steam room, pools, and more! - a huge, lovely breakfast spread - connected to a splendid park/green space that you can hike around - proximity to, yet privacy from, central Rovinj. We walked to the church in about 20 min.

I booked a seven night stay at The Eden Hotel, Rovinj. My Spouse and I really liked this hotel. Our room was quiet, spacious and very clean with comfy beds. In fact the whole hotel is very clean with well looked after grounds too. All the staff are friendly, professional and a credit to The Maistra Hotel Group. Whilst here I had a lovely back and shoulder massage whilst my other half had a foot massage. Both treatments were a tonic but on the pricey side. Also went for a dip in the small indoor swimming pool. Towels provided. We opted for half board. Yes, it is canteen style, but the food was an awful lot better than previous hotels we stayed at in Altea and Sorrento. My only criticism was that the desserts were very lacklustre with the same choice every night. However, for €26 each for three courses you can’t complain! I cannot comment on the entertainment as neither of us are bothered with that. However, I would like to suggest the hotel hosts a traditional Croatian evening once a week with traditional Croatian food and music. We would love that and I am sure others would too. A short stroll takes you to the sea with pebbled foreshore and beach cafe. Nearby are nice nature walks in a conservation area. Both parts are shared with sister hotels Lone and Monte Mulini. The walk into Rovinj itself is about half an hour, so this hotel has the best of both worlds. My Spouse in particular really loved Roving and Hotel Eden, so we hope to visit again one day.

Stayed here as part of a coach holiday. I cannot fault this hotel. It is clean, modern & has a full range of facilities with both indoor & outdoor pools & a spa. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of space & I think all have balconies. The balconies are attractive with higher than average walls & trailing plants. The food is of a good standard & they try to cater for all tastes. The range of cakes & desserts was impressive. The breakfast really did tick all the boxes. The evening meal had a choice of soups & salads as well as the main course. The staff in all parts of the hotel were extremely helpful & pleasant. The beach is just a walk past the outdoor pool. I would say two minutes & the town is a pleasant walk along by the beach. Would love to go back.

This is a lovely hotel situated in gorgeous surroundings, grounds are beautiful and the Hotel is surrounded by greenery. Very clean, hotel rooms are comfortable, beds and bedding high quality. Hotel is a good 25 minute walk into Rovinj, walk is very flat and by the coast which is pleasant. Breakfast has loads to offer and a good quality, we were Half board and had 1 meal in restaurant which had loads of variety, we personally prefer to eat out on holiday. Hotel is on a lovely beach with its own loungers both on the beach and in the gardens, nice pool area too. Excellent gym, indoor pool with jacuzzi and spa treatments (at extra cost which you would expect). Drinks in the hotel are very expensive in comparison to town but suppose you are a captive audience. 1 down side was the lack of air conditioning, temperature at the moment is over 20 degrees, the hotel decided to turn air con off after a few cooler days last last week, this makes it difficult to sleep, we and others I. The hotel have complained but the staff apparently can’t go anything to help, the heat makes it difficult to sleep. Overall a nice experience and would recommend it x

Loved the location of this hotel. You can walk out of the back of the hotel, through the grounds, past the swimming pools and private beach and beach bar and along the prom. It’s a lovely walk into the town. Also the walk in the opposite direction is lovely too. Woods on one side, the sea on the other. The hotel is big. Our room had a balcony which was great. Even though it overlooked the front of the hotel we were not disturbed at all. Bathroom great and slippers and bath robes supplied. The restaurant is very busy and can be noisy at times. We were always able to find a table easily. The selection and variety of hot and cold food is amazing. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. As someone has already said the hotel is quiet in the evenings ( in October). This suited us fine as we like to walk into town after dinner. But may not suit everyone. But we loved Hotel Eden.

Just returned from an 11 night stay at this hotel. We booked half board which was a mistake as there as so many nice places to eat in Rovinj, the food in the hotel offered was very poor choice for both breakfast and dinner. Having eaten dinner on the first night to find the the fresh spaghetti and risotto was piled on top of the remains of the previous batch! Also didn’t seem right to see the chefs pinching chips with their fingers. Hence we eat in the old town most evenings. The rooms were nicely decorated but on the small side, very clean, we booked a superior with pool view. There were plenty of sun beds around the pool and on the beach. There was no atmosphere in the bar. The walk into the old town was about 20 minutes which was a vey pleasant walk.
