It was hard to find a hotel during Christmas, and the price was expensive. Finally I found this hotel with good value for money. It is very close to the train station, bus station and city center; the hotel facilities are relatively old. The front desk service is very warm and patient.

It was located in the center of Rovaniemi, with many supermarkets, restaurants, and a shopping mall nearby.
It was very close to the office, which hosts a variety of activities, which was helpful.
The lobby was spacious and had a kids' space and a microwave, so you could heat up frozen meals.
Breakfast was also very delicious.

The hotel facilities are relatively old and simple, but the room is large and the breakfast is more diverse. You have to check in at three o'clock. Fortunately, there are several large shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, which can kill time.

We stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The hotel has everything you need or expect. While available, I did not try the sauna. The rooms were clean and of average size. You can open the window, something I value highly. The beds were a little narrow and reminded me of a hammock. I slept well anyway. The room was much too hot, but the receptionist was very helpful and solved the problem. Breakfast was good, although nothing special. In general, the hotel shows its age. In one way, it’s the charm of the 50s. But some aspects would benefit from renovation and modernization. The staff, not just the receptionist, but everyone, was very friendly and helpful!

The hotel was last renovated in the 80's latest. A bad smell of an old building in the corridors and the room. The decoration was simply terrible with curtains from the 60's and worn-off wooden furniture of some once-brown colour. A smell of mold in the bathroom. A band-aid on top of the sewer in the shower room. The bed was 80 cm wide. TV was very small. If this was 50 EUR per night then fine, but 200 EUR for a place like this is a robbery in broad daylight.

Hotel needs a little TLC as is is quite dated. Room was an OK size but beds were lumpy. Not really attractive. Common area very dated. Staff was top notch and the single reason the rating is as high as it is. Quite costly for what it is. No real in house restaurant.
