This was a nice B&B stay at in Rotorua. It’s within walking distance walking distance of the redwood forest, which is about a 10 minute walk. A half decent restaurant about 5 mins away. Lots of restaurants are downtown, which you have to drive. Vivien is a very nice host. We would stay there again!

Having Vivian as our host and following her recommendations for our short time in Rotorua made for a very memorable visit. Nothing was too much trouble for Vivian. She made us feel so welcome and took very good care of us. It was a joy to stay here

Upon driving up it was apparent that the property was a personal residence that had been converted into as many rooms as possible to make money. We had booked for 2 nights and had been unable to make it the first night due to changes in flights. When we arrived the next morning and asked to check in we were told that she had given our room to another couple that arrived that morning as she is unable to pay her mortgage if any rooms are vacant during the month. We explained that we had paid for two nights and understood that we would not be refunded for the first night since she was unable to rent the room but that she should either refund us for the second night or allow us to stay there. She said to leave the property and that she promised to refund the second night to *******. We were later told by ******* that she refused to refund the money and told them that if she refunded the money she would be unable to afford to buy more properties. Overall this was very disappointing I would not recommend staying ath this property. The experience was bad enough that even after several months I still feel sad about how terribly we were treated. The customers here are nothing but a way to extract money for the owner.

A very cosy accomodation, but the Highlight Light is Viviane. Right on arrival she overwhemled us with proposals how to fill the day. It was great. An after a rich breakfast ee started our tour. We had long interesting conversations about a variety of topics and time flew by ... we really enjoyed the stay.

Gemütliche Zimmer, Sitzgelegenheit auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Garten. Direkt neben dem Redwood Forest (Mammutbaum-Wald mit markierten Wegen), Lage auch ausgezeichnet für Fahrt zum Tarawera-See und -Trail (beides nicht so "übertouristisch" wie das meiste in Rotorua und sehr eindrucksvoll). Das Bed&Breakfast lebt aber vor allem von Vivien, die das Frühstück persönlich serviert und sich für jeden einzelnen Gast zeit nimmt, Ausflüge empfiehlt und auch organisiert.

Un très chouette B&B avec un accueil très chaleureux de Vivien. Tout etait bien et ses conseils avisés nous ont été précieux. Quel plaisir de partager nos voyages avec elle. L’emplacement est très bien et proche de tout, y compris Redwoods tree walk qu’il ne faut absolument pas manquer le soir. Merci Vivien pour le partage et la qualité de l’accueil.

A place you just want to stay on your trip to New Zealand.
We loved everything about it and the location is perfect.
Fantastic helpful and eminent host.
We enjoyed the breakfast with Vivien and other guests with good conversations around the table.
Vivien gave us the best recommendations, ideas and advice for planning some trips, that suited our needs.
