It just happened to be a long holiday in the local area. There are not many choices. The rooms are old. There are big bathtubs and bathing places. The sanitation is average, but the service attitude is good. It is just an ordinary motel

Tired and rusty. The room included a spa bath shower, however it was unclean, with visible hairs. Also, the kitchen bench was not adequately cleaned. Kitchen plugs were not working in the room; only one outlet was functional -to be used to power a microwave, kettle, and other appliances. The wall heater was not turned on, and the knob had been removed, so I had to call reception to find out how to turn on the heater at night. Okay for low-cost lodging and if you don't mind a few inconveniences. Not enough words to write. Don't be fooled by the images. If you want to book, it really depends on your budget and situation.

Horrendous, I wish I checked the reviews before booking, it's sooo run down I would've preferred a tent over this place. But it's not the staff's fault it's whoever owns this motel you are deceiving people with your photos from 20 years ago! And we should report your motel for a majorly hazardous building, it needs to be closed down until it's fixed! Don't go here save your money

I usually try to find something positive to say, regardless of how bad the unit was. This time I can't. Perhaps the owners are doing their best, but I suspect they cater more for the tourists that are one off visitors and won't bother writing a review. Shocking unit. Would not stay again. No electric heating, we rang reception (onsite reception was not open in the 4 hours we were there) and a guy (with limited English) turned up pretended that the thermal heating was on and warming up. I ended up sending my husband out to buy an electric heater. Then our adult son visited and took one look at the unit and moved us to another motel. He was not having his parents "stay in that hovel". Some serious money needs to be spent on this place.

Awful. Very overpriced, one star at most. Very dated and worn out motel, badly patched holes in the walls, very worn out kitchen and bathroom facilities, broken shower head, leaking toilet cistern, and the rooms smoke alarm had a flat battery. No air conditioning or ventilation, but there was one fan for the two rooms. External railing was so badly rusted it cut my partners hand, requiring medical treatment. Had booked for multiple nights, but it was so bad we had to leave after just one night. For a motel that advertises as "international" I am embarrassed that visitors to rotorua might stay at such a place.

This place should be condemed, its disgusting that they would charge out rooms that are so unclean and dirty. What you see of the website, is NOTHING when you arrive in person! i would never recommend my worst ememy to stay here either.

Seriously it was soo sooo bad. There are no pillows in the room as we booked this hotel for 4 people but there is only 2 pillows and no heater inside the room my wife got really sick after visiting this rubbish motel and when we call on reception no one answer the call poor very poor services i don't recommend this motel in future to anyone! They charge $180 from us but they do t give us that type of services atleast the basic needs..

Terrible place to stay room was so noisy you would have thought the traffic was driving through, the windows where drafty and handles broken the door in similar repair toilet seat was dirty and broken I didn't try any mineral baths the look of them was enough and the smell was rotten, we had booked 2 nights ,1 was enough we asked for a refund but the lady refused.

We booked at late notice for New Years Eve and were expecting much even though we knew we were getting overcharged due to the time of year. But one thing you expect is to have a working shower, particularly after our long drive, but we were disappointed to find the shower was either cold or without pressure, after complaints the Reception lady said they would contact a Plumber and offered only to shower in someone else's room (the place was fully booked so I'm not sure if that meant showering while other guest were there) and partial refund was refused after they were unable to fix the shower. Also the Bathroom sink tap leaked and the bath had many dead insects the Motel itself didn't seem maintained but at least the Beds were clean. Didn't feel safe walking on around the Motel and along Fenton St at night, unfortunately many of the Hotels/Motels have been turned into Housing NZ accomodation.
