A beautiful family run historic hotel. The owners pay attention to detail. We had the room in the “attic”, but it was roomy, charming and had a private little balcony across the hall where my wife and I were able to enjoy a bottle of the local wine. A memorable stay!

It was a little difficult to find with a car (Google Maps kept taking us down streets we weren’t supposed to drive down), but once we did we were greeted warmly by Axle & given directions on where to park. We had a 1st floor room overlooking the street with lovely views. We had plenty of room & the bathroom was spacious. There was a fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very generous & enjoyable. The location of the hotel was fabulous & and short walk to the town square. Despite this the room was quiet for sleeping. We have not stayed anywhere this historic before. Highly recommended.

This hotel was quite charming, holds a tremendous amount of history and is centrally located to the Marienplatz. Staff was friendly, rooms VERY clean/tidy, and the morning breakfast for 15€ was perfect for us. Thanks for a nice stay, albeit brief.

We stayed at the Gotisches Haus for two nights and I itemsmust say that this hotel delivered on all fronts: Location is perfect - centrally located but in a quiet location. You simply can't beat the style/feel where everything is old (but clean and functioning); and the hosts were a delight, friendly, and helpful. The room was quiet, spacious, and looked just like in the pictures. Hard to beat in character, stayed in many places, this one is unique. Bathroom was clean, unexpectedly large, and had a huge tub to boot. Breakfast had a good selection of items, all fresh and tasty. If/when I return to Rothenburg, no question I'll be back at this place.

Great hotel that is perfectly located in Rothenburg. The charm and history of the building makes for a memorable place to stay. All staff members were warm and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotels location was perfect, Wr were within walking distance to everything in the old city. Being able to bring packages to our room and come and go a few times each day and still not miss anything the city had to offer was a huge plus.

En plein centre historique de la petite ville, excellent hôtel dans une maison du XV ème siècle mais avec tout le confort moderne (sauf la clim). Personnel très agréable, très bon petit-déjeuner. On peut arriver à l'hôtel en voiture pour un dépose bagages, ensuite il faut prendre un parking hors des remparts (environ 800m et 6€ pour 24h).

At the Gotisches Haus hotel in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany, you feel transported to the medieval era, while enjoying accommodation with all the comforts of our time. The hotel areas are richly decorated, the masonry is made of natural stone and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very tasteful. The service is friendly and welcoming. And the location is excellent, close to everything! The breakfast is a 10, and even includes sparkling wine. A delight! Without a doubt, one of the best stays of our travels! I highly recommend it!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, comfortable bed, and large bathroom. We loved that our windows opened up to the street in front and we could watch people pass by near the plaza! Breakfast was included and was delicious. We almost went for the 3rd floor balcony suite but the 2nd floor room was perfect for the 2 of us with a large room and beautiful view. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay here again in the future!

A gem. In the middle of the old town, lovely clean room, nice breakfast. Amazing staff. Right across from the lovely teddy shop and a little walk to the view from the castle walls. Couldn't ask for more.
