Location was amazing! The setting is story book perfect! Just past one of the city gates and a short walk to the Plonlein. Close to shops and restaurant. Easy walk to most attractions. The cafe attached to the hotel, seperately owned, is spectacular! We had a family room which was basically two attached rooms each with their own small bathroom. One room had one queen bed and the other had a twin and a double. The beds were comfortable. You could see the castle garden in the distance from the back window. The mini fridge came in handy to keep cold drinks in. The young lady who met us there for check-in was super nice. Private parking garage, for extra fee, is just around the corner. You must reserve it ahead of time because spaces are very limited. Some things that need improvement: We came in early July and it was quite hot. The room has no AC but also didn't include any fans. We asked management if they had fans we could put in the room. The initial response was "No", but we did get one fan the next morning. Unfortunately, since there was two rooms, that wasn't sufficient, so we had to buy another one to sleep semi-comfortable at night. In addition, there is a towel warmer in one of the bathrooms that we could not turn off. So it was like a sauna in there. Opening all the windows at night helped but you get bugs in the room. FYI: There is no lift and our room was on the 3rd floor.
