I would highly recommend this motel. Not that we will be going back to Townsville, but I would return if I was. It had everything you will need. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Small things like a proper bathmat, a bench with chairs to eat breakfast. Iron and ironing board. Hair dryer. Good tv. And perfectly good continental breakfast. Handy to most things. Easy to get to ferry terminal. A mall 5 minutes away. Food options nearby. Washing machine/dryer on site. $4 each. There is a washing line as well. And washing rack you can borrow for room. We ate at the RSL, but there are take aways near by. I was impressed. Probably the best Motel we have stayed in this trip.

Very clean room, had everything we needed and the owner brings breakfast to your room for a quick getaway the next day. Shaded car park downstairs, no lift to the rooms as far as i’m aware. The room did have wifi access. Late key drop box is available.

We chose an upstairs unit saving $10, worth the climb. Value as it includes a good Continental breakfast delivered to your room. Even though on a main road it is very quiet. Convenient to a large shopping centre and Rising Sun Hotel for meals. Only negative was no ceiling fans .Relying on air con not our preference.
