The setting, grounds and environment are excellent. Staff are very friendly, which contributes to the stay here for two nights. Breakfast was very good. The negative was the old and dated room. Furnishing was old, carpet is patched , shower head could not be adjusted. TV had poor reception and very poor variety to choose from. The impression of the hotel from the outside is 4*, but room nit more than 3*. Would not stay in this “luxury” room. I still gave a 4* rating, but would suggest not to stay in one of these very dated rooms.

Our 10th wedding Anniversary was amazing. The picnic, accommodation, dinner breakfast. I cant wait to go back and also make use of the Spa facilities. This is the place to visit if you want to celebrate your special day. They pay attention to detail, the staff is friendly and professional. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Friday night 27/9/24. We like other couples booked the Spring special. The good. The picnic box was good. The standard room we were in with the king size bed was good. The staff were friendly. The bad. Unfortunately it appears there was also a function where motorcycles were allowed to rev continuously at max decibels We were in a standard room and there was only SABC 1,2,3 and e-tv. No DSTV whatsoever. Not even a boutique option. Prices are exhorbitant. The cheapest bottle of wine (the house wine) = R210. Strawberry Dacquiri = R130. If you want to relax. Don’t bother wasting your time and money. It is not what it used to be.

Having my 8th visit to Kievetskroon, I am not disappointed. Whilst I was disappointed with the check in process, Letta and Norma brought their professional attitude to the table. The food was superb. I think some of the menu’s can be changed at the Granita’s restaurant. Lamb should be an option for the seven course meal.Service great.

Beautiful estate, luxury rooms. Exquisite food. Very good value for money. Champagne and oysters for breakfast if you like that in the morning. Would have rated 5 stars if they didn’t charge me 60 ZAR for an accidentally broken glass, that I honestly reported to prevent the maid for cutting herself…. Don’t expect this policy for a 4 star accomodation…

Spent two nights and loved every minute. The rooms were amazing. And we were spoilt rotten. We relaxed at the pool. Enjoyed the spa. Experienced a wine tasting. We loved the tranquil feel with great service. Breakfast was incredible!! Can highly recommend this venue.

This is the perfect place for a quick getaway, but also not a far dive from the city. Next time I'm definitely going to book a weekend stay but for this trip visited their restaurant. Oh the food was delicious, my friend and I, had their sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. The portion of the food was also a lot which I didn't expect from such a fancy place for dessert I ordered my go to, which is always a cheesecake, it was not baked so that was as a bit of a disappointment. Nonetheless I loved the place the serenity and ambience made it seem like one was out somewhere in the countryside. We even managed to catch the sunset on our drive out.

My family and I had the pleasure of attending the Father's day Fest on Sunday 17th of June held in a charming park setting, this event was a perfect blend of entertainment, relaxation, and meaningful activities ! The food was amazing, wine paring also great and overall, our accommodation experience at the Family Fun Fest was excellent, providing a cozy retreat amidst the festivities !

It comes down to value for money. Although I can’t complain too much without sounding like a brat…. There’s just a certain expectation one has when paying these prices. Starting of with the Winelands Signature Massage. Underwhelming service at Lord Charles restaurant was disappointing. Not that many people but it took 45 min to get Jalapeño Poppers and by the time it arrived it was cold… think someone forgot about it ♀️ luxury rooms I think is a bit of an oversell. It was pretty average. But the extra touch with the petals was nice. Somebody decided to have a party 3:00 in the morning and nobody went to tell them to put the music off… eventually I think they went to sleep after 5 breakfast underwhelming. Fruit platter was bland and some of it was frozen pastries a bit stale. Omelette was ok but nothing wow. Overall I expected more. If you pay these prices a certain expectation comes with it…. Not a bad place …. But definitely not value for money At least they made my birthday dinner a bit special. Thank you for that
