I got my flight delayed and missed my connecting flight. Ended up to the beauty pf Hawaii and this hotel. My stay was amazing! Beyond! The rooms are spacious and they gave me the most amazing view and corner room. Everything is within your footsteps! Every staff is lovely and helpful! The Guy Glenn was so helpful and the one responsible in my ridonkulously amazing room!

Fun for the kids and family. Great infinity pool. They should have more pool side service than going to the restaurant ordering. Service could be a bit friendlier but overall great. Rooms are a little outdated. Lobby is nice and location is great!

Not bad, but depends on whether there's a price drop. Many other better properties in the area.

So....got a great rate on Travelzoo voucher for 4 nights. This hotel has been remodeled and is still in process of completing some work in common areas. Starbucks opened when I was there, and Monkeypod will open in the future. Staff was fabulous! No complaints there. I was able to check in early and got a partial ocean view on floor 11. Room was spotless. My only complaint, and it's a big one for me, is the soundproofing. I should say lack of it! Doors are HEAVY and each open and shut on the floor nearby is a shock to the sleeper. Also, the wind whistled and the band and traffic comes right in through slider to balcony. The band stops at 9, so that was no problem, and very nice. But....I hated the door slams and other interior noises. If you are a light sleeper, I don't think you will enjoy yourself. I wore ear plugs. Location is superb! It really can't be beat. Pool is OK. The jacuzzi was kind of icky. One being closed the entire time, the other kind of grey and the one attached to the pool generally full of kids. No jacuzzi for me. Towels and loungers were readily available. No problems there. We did have a problem at restaurant/ bar with what we think was bad turkey or mayo on a club. My grandson and I got sick within a couple hours. Unfortunately for the maintenance staff there was some cleaning up to do in the bathroom. The staff responded immediately and were so nice about it. I cannot thank them enough. However, when I reported this to the restaurant manager in the morning I was not totally happy with his response. All in all, I would stay there again for what I paid for it.

I booked this hotel three times between Ctrip and Qunar, because the price dropped the closer I got. The location of the hotel is indeed good, the room is large, the balcony has a good view, and it is very comfortable to use. Although the hotel is large, the elevator is very fast, and getting in and out is not as troublesome as some reviews said. The only inconvenience was that I checked out of the room that day, stored my luggage and went shopping. When I came back, I found that on the check-in floor on the second floor, all toilets required swiping a room card to enter, OMG. Later, I went to the change room where the third-floor swimming pool is located. There is no need to swipe the room card there. It’s very close to Marugame Udon, a popular udon restaurant. The “Mai*” matcha ice cream next to it is also good. You can try the purple potato balls in Duke Lane. The local poke bowl is worth a try.

Don’t book a room cheaply! *Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance. *Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of ​​less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience! * Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days. In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

It's still a very good hotel, and the room is cleaned every day. We communicated in advance and provided baby fences, cribs, strollers, baby toiletries, manta dolls, and birthday cakes. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped, even with steamers and toasters, kettles, various pots and pans, and dishwashing liquid. When we were waiting for the bus to go out, a few bottles of mineral water were delivered to me on the first floor. The hotel's own swimming pool can be ignored, but it is very close to the beach and you can walk to the main street of Wakiki in a short time, which is very convenient for travel.

The hotel is great and clean and our room was a good size. I was sad that they didn’t have an actual pool. They have a waddle pool for kids and a hot (warm) tub. Parking at the hotel is quiet expensive and the walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It was nice to be able to get towels, beach chairs and umbrellas from the hotel to use at the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants steps away.

Very pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

The hygiene is good and the service attitude is also good. I stayed in the club room for 6 days. The club room comes with a buffet breakfast. The club on the 5th floor has food and drinks from 7:00 to 20:00. There is a cafe on the first floor, and the Japanese restaurant is also good. There is a poke shop in the ilikai hotel next to it, which tastes good. The beach is far and it takes 15 minutes to walk. If you like to go to the beach, it is not recommended. Waikiki Shopping Center is 20 minutes away. I usually take the pink line. I have a JCB credit card so I can sit for free. Drinks and appetizers: 2 kinds of Hawaiian draft beer, red wine and white wine. Coke, tea, Honolulu coffee, etc. The swimming pool is not big but there are not many people. The hotel Waikiki Hotel is close to the airport and does not need to go to the traffic jam. Alamoana Shopping Center is a 10-minute walk. Donquijote (donki) supermarket is a 15-minute walk (the poke here is delicious and cheap). It is recommended to take the ANA A380 aircraft to Hawaii. It is a 2-story large aircraft. The turtle aircraft is very cute.
