"The night view was great. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and patient. However, the bathroom wasn't very clean; the toilet was a bit dirty, probably because it's not a new hotel. Also, the outdoor table in the view room was dusty. The water was very hot, and the mini-fridge didn't work. Everything else was pretty good."

The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"A very satisfying stay! The lobby is grand and impressive, and the overall environment is excellent. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – they were incredibly warm, polite, and efficient in handling everything, which made the check-in process very smooth and comfortable. They even gave us complimentary welcome fruits and snacks. The room itself was well-equipped, the bed was super comfortable, and it was a really nice room overall! The location is also fantastic; there are tons of great food spots right outside the hotel, and you can walk to the Old Town pedestrian street in just one minute, which is incredibly convenient! "This guesthouse really surprised me; the overall quality far exceeded my expectations! The French vintage decor is very tasteful, and the entire guesthouse is fully equipped with everything you could need, including a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, branded bedding, and smart devices. The room even has a full-length mirror, a vanity, and a projector – they really understand what women want. The owner is handsome and very nice, preparing breakfast for us in the morning, with delicious dumplings and corn cakes. In the afternoon, there's coffee and afternoon tea. The common areas are beautifully maintained with lots of fresh flowers, and the little courtyard just puts you in a good mood. You can even relax in the yard with a dog for company. There are also many fresh flowers in the hallway, so you see them as soon as you open the door. The service is professional and attentive, balancing privacy with thoughtful care. This is definitely the best choice for high-quality accommodation in Dali. Five stars, well deserved!"

"Staying at a courtyard hotel in Dali made things so much easier! 🏨 I booked the Camellia Leaf Suite at 'Chunlin Pavilion Boutique Hotel' near the ancient city, and the overall experience was a pleasant surprise.
📍 **Location:** It's just a few minutes' walk from Dali Ancient City, offering a quiet escape while still being close to the action. Coming back from exploring the ancient city at night was super convenient, and I even caught the March Street Folk Festival! ✌️ The soundproofing is excellent, so street noise wasn't an issue.
🏡 **Room Experience:** The Camellia Leaf Suite has its own private courtyard. The bathtub in the room faces the street, letting in plenty of light. The space is generous, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are thoughtfully provided.
✨ **Highlights:** The courtyard environment is very peaceful. Waking up and sitting in the courtyard to soak up the sun was incredibly relaxing. The service was also very attentive; both check-in and check-out were smooth.

"The room was absolutely beautiful! It looked exactly like the pictures, and I was so pleasantly surprised when I first walked in. The cleanliness was impeccable; you could tell they put a lot of effort into cleaning. The facilities were excellent too, with smart appliances that made everything so convenient. All the disposable amenities were well-stocked. What really stood out was how wonderful the owner was. We were new to Yunnan and had many questions, and the owner patiently helped us with everything. On our check-out day, we wanted to explore Dali a bit more, and the owner kindly let us store our luggage at the B&B. Later that evening, my friend and I were in a rush and couldn't pick up our bags, so the owner went above and beyond and personally delivered them to our bus! All in all, our two-day stay was fantastic! This B&B really enhanced my first impression of Yunnan. Highly recommend! It's genuinely great!"

The guesthouse is located in a small courtyard, just across the road from Erhai Lake and the ancient city, so you can easily walk there or take a taxi right to the entrance. The room even had unexpected amenities like an automatic water dispenser and a wooden foot bath. The room layout was very comfortable, with Cangshan Mountain as a backdrop, and the bedding was super cozy. It was the best night's sleep I've had since arriving in Dali!

The view outside is just as stunning as Longkan Wharf and the popular 'S' Bay, so there's no need to go anywhere else once you're here. There are even local photographers outside who can take great pictures. The hotel staff are excellent, and in the afternoon, they offer complimentary mini desserts like flower cakes, Pu'er wine, and a variety of beverages. The public areas are spacious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic, with both Chinese and Western options. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

GGuest UserI saw Erhai Lake, admired Cangshan Mountain, and explored the ancient city, only to discover that the most beautiful scenery was actually right inside the hotel! 😄
In the evening, I even got to witness a breathtaking sunset over Erhai and Cangshan. It was incredibly therapeutic. Even though I've seen the sea before, the beauty of Erhai is truly unique and I like it even more.
The hotel boasts an excellent viewing platform, perfect for taking photos or simply unwinding.
The rooms and lobby are spotlessly clean. When extending my stay, I just had to inform the staff and they would tidy up the room, showing thoughtful service and meticulous hygiene.
It's very close to popular attractions like Yunxiang Mountain, Ideal State, and Xingsheng Bridge, offering convenient direct access.
I was also very pleased with the room. It had a large floor-to-ceiling window, providing excellent natural light, and I loved the layout. The inclusion of a Laifen hairdryer was a generous touch and it worked wonderfully.
Compared to the hotels we've stayed in Malaysia and Thailand, this place is simply paradise! Even hotels in Kunming fall short; they don't have such a magnificent view. Next time, I definitely want to try their sea view room!

The complimentary airport and train station transfers are a huge plus, and the service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic. They proactively help with all your luggage, big or small. The transfer vehicles are also very comfortable and spotless. Upon check-in, everything in the room is free except for the red wine – instant noodles, drinks, beer, water, coffee, yogurt, and Yunnan black tea are all complimentary. They bring a generous amount of fresh fruit daily, and there's 24-hour rice noodle service, which is a lifesaver for anyone not accustomed to local food; you'll never go hungry. Every evening, there's also tremella soup available. The front desk even has complimentary snacks, fruits, and flower cakes for guests to enjoy. And the room itself? Speechless. The videos and photos on their website are an exact, 1:1 representation of the actual rooms – absolutely no photo trickery. What you see is precisely what you get. The room is impeccably clean, and the array of amenities is extensive. My parents are usually quite picky about hotels, but they absolutely adored this one, praising everything from the room facilities to the balcony views and the spaciousness of the suite. They insisted that on their next trip to Dali, they must stay here again. And most importantly, the staff – from the front desk to the transfer drivers, the F&B team, the ladies who help with luggage, the gentlemen who deliver rice noodles and tremella soup at night, and the three cleaning ladies – everyone is incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and friendly. The owner of this hotel is truly fortunate to have assembled such a fantastic team. The hotel's location, combined with the suite facilities and the wonderful staff, makes for a top-tier experience. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone visiting Dali *must* stay at this hotel at least once – it's absolutely worth every penny!

The room's arched large window acts as a natural frame, making every photo look amazing.
The natural light in the room is wonderfully soothing, and the minimalist wooden furnishings create a cozy atmosphere. Just curling up on the window-side sofa and zoning out is incredibly therapeutic.
Opening the window reveals the Erhai Lake right before your eyes, with the water, distant mountains, and clouds spread out in a breathtaking vista.
In the afternoon, we'd set out some tea and snacks on the terrace and simply sit there, enjoying the breeze off the lake for hours, without a single worry. As evening fell, watching the sunset paint over the lake was truly magical.
Waking up naturally each day and drawing open the curtains to reveal the entire sea – now *that's* the relaxed vibe Dali should have.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are great, and there's a big balcony where you can enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain. You can even see the Three Pagodas from the rooftop. The landlady is very friendly, and the breakfast she personally prepares is excellent, especially the large fried dough sticks. She also arranged for us to be picked up from the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The location was perfect for us — tucked away in a peaceful corner near Dali Ancient City, yet only a short walk to the shops, cafés, and attractions.
What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us with our luggage, preparing breakfast every morning, and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the rice noodles, which we looked forward to each morning.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful courtyard and the overall peaceful atmosphere.
A couple of things to note for families and travellers with larger luggage. The beautiful courtyard has a koi pond running through parts of it, which adds to the charm, but I was constantly keeping an eye on my kids as I was worried they might accidentally fall in. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it’s something parents with young children may want to be aware of.
Another consideration is luggage. Vehicles can stop near the property, but you’ll still need to carry your luggage across parts of the courtyard. If you’re staying on Levels 2 or 3, there is no lift, so luggage has to be carried up manually. The owner was kind enough to help us, but it’s still worth considering if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases.
For our family room, one small downside was that although the room was very spacious, there was only one air-conditioner serving the entire unit. The smaller bedroom felt a little stuffy and warm at night. That said, the owner was very responsive and quickly provided us with a fan the next day, which made a huge difference and solved the issue for us.
Overall, the warmth of the host, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and peaceful setting far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and authentic stay in Dali. ❤️🏔️✨

You can wake up to the sunrise every morning by just opening the window, and in the evening, witness the orange sunset painting the lake. Every photo you take here turns out amazing. The owner is thoughtful and attentive, sending us travel routes in advance and responding quickly to any questions. At night, you fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves, making for a quiet and relaxing stay. A short walk takes you right to the lake.
