Hyatt House Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

You get one chance to make a first impression and reception at this hotel blew it. We had planned to arrive early and knew we would not be able to check in for several hours. Our intention was to find transport to the airport and use their systems to get into the city. When we approached reception we were given no opportunity to explain our requirements and were brusquely ordered to come back later. My request for information about available transport was met with: "call a taxi or Úber". When we did check-in that evening the young man did his job but might as well have been reading from a script. The suite we were allocated had noisy air con which was off and on throughout the night. There was no tap in bathroom sink and the shower door would not fully close. Stains across the setee meant we avoided using it. This prompted us to check the mattress which was clean. On the plus side the cleaning of the room was done to a high standard and the breakfast offering, whilst fairly standard, was well displayed. Staff in the breakfast room worked hard to keep tables clear and available. This is our first experience of a Hyatt property and we will not be returning.
