I had to discard a used razor blade that was left in the bathroom (probably from the previous guest)
Not sure how housekeeping missed the razor but it was disgusting to have to throw away. There was hair all over it.

This experience did not disappoint, starting with the most friendly staff ever. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed their attentiveness. The location was perfect… also, restaurants and other stores very nearby. Easy navigation. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived in the wee hours of the night to the lobby after our room had been given away at another nearby hotel. Tamela was extremely professional and understanding of our situation. She found us a room a made sure it met our needs. Tamela was patient not only with us but with others that she was ******** as well. If we ever have to come back to rocky mount we will defiantly be staying here again. You have our business for life.

Very disappointing. Not up to ANY Marriott standard. The floor had visible dirt. Wood cabinets and dresser were severely worn. There was even a bug the bathroom and when we got up the morning we noticed stains on the duvet!!! We did not mention any of this to the staff because while friendly, didn't seem to care very much. This is a good location, just select another hotel!!

I would have rated my stay as a 1 but the breakfast was good. Pool not open (August 90 degrees). Room holes in wall, torn curtain, missing closet door, windows falling apart, furniture old and scratched, kitchen missing some utensils, no fry pan, light over stove not working, lights over bed not working, light in bathroom dim, dirt on floor from previous tenants?

Lovely suite at an affordable price for a night. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Nice location with at least one restaurant within walking distance . Clean hotel with a welcoming lobby and outside area. Pool was open but a tad cool for a morning swim.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years, and I suggest that it’s time for a refresh. My room was comfortable and clean, but it was showing its age. The bathtub surround was stapled in place and the wallpaper was peeling. The toilet was whimsical - you had to jiggle the lever else it would keep running (I reported this to the management). The breakfast was disappointing because the scrambled eggs and sausage patties were cold. The bacon slices were very crisp, very thin and cold, too - they would have been better served as bacon bits after crumbling. Friendly and helpful staff, common areas were clean and tidy, but… I won’t stay here again until it’s been refurbished. And I’m a Bonvoy member.

Outdated, dishes were not clean, housekeeping does not show up, maintenance has to be called multiple times for them to show up. Overall would not stay here again.
