I have been an IHG member for years and frequent the hotels regularly. I reserved my room on 12/26/2022. I called and spoke to staff on 4/29/23 regarding the reservation and asked that they put us on a lower floor. My husband is a Mayo Clinic patient. I checked in on the app on Saturday, Sunday morning my room still showed up as reserved on my app but when I arrived several hours later, they said a person had been diagnosed with cancer and they did not want to kick them out of the room. I would want a hotel to help us too but…. The Mayo Clinic is not open on Sunday. If their story was true, that would mean they would have known on Friday. Communication would have been appropriate. I was already checked in, so how were they able to give my room away before I got there? The app said that my keys would be waiting for me. I should not have to explain the personal needs that determine why I choose a certain room. The hotel did not even honor my request for a lower floor. MY CONCLUSION: THEY WAITED FOR US TO SHOW UP AND MAKE THE CHANGE BECAUSE THEY KNEW I WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE AND NO TIME TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL TO ACCOMDATE US. They did comp us dinner, which I found to be a waste of money. I will no longer give loyalty to any brand, and I have become a member of two others.

I travel all the time for work and personally I have probably have stayed 500 to 1000 plus nights in IHG properties. The front desk staff was the rudest I have ever ran into. I will absolutely will never stay at this property again. Wow apparently I pulled into the parking garage without this lady’s approval she said you need to go find a spot on the street. The app description for parking says nothing about signing up for parking in the garage. So rude almost makes me not want to stay at a IHG property again.

Stayed for one night on business trip. The hotel had more amenities than I needed. Would be great place if you’re needing extended stay for Mayo. Super clean, very nice people, breakfast bar was good. They even had a casserole dinner available in the evening, I didn’t try it but seemed like very helpful if you we’re staying here for a week. Kitchen was fully stocked in the room with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cook top, and all the tableware and cookware you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

Would stay again. This clean and convenient hotel had all the amenities my wife and I needed while she was being treated at the Mayo Clinic. It is only blocks from the Gonda Bldg. The rooms, though not large, are not as small as some we've stayed at. The kitchen area has a FULL size frig. That was a plus for an extended stay. There is a cook top stove. Microwave. Pots, pans, dishes. Very nice walk in shower. Iron and ironing board. Blow dryer. In room safe. Room temperature regulated well. Staff were great and very helpful. No problems
