The surrounding area is a neighborhood where many Indians live, and it is located in an area where car repair works are being carried out. OYO Hotel is an Indian chain, so I thought I would receive standardized service (like Toyoko Inn and APA Hotel in Japan, where the level is the same wherever you go), but it was a disappointment.
The room is old. It was a problem that there were no towels. The shower had hot water, but the shower head was broken. The front desk's response depends on the person, but it's better not to expect too much. It was unfortunate that I had to wait so long when I checked out.
I booked it thinking that it would be within walking distance of the station once the Riyadh Metro Blue Line opens, but the station has not yet opened and I have to take a bus to get to the station (as of December 28, 2024).
Hotel prices are rising overall in Riyadh, and this is the cheapest single room, but it's better to understand that the cheap price means relatively bad service before making a reservation.
