The hotel is a charming old building. Although not many of the staff spoke English, they were friendly and quick to use cell phone translation to communicate. Like most of the hotels we stayed in in Ecuador, the room had no windows to the outside making it rather dark. The room was a nice size but needed more hooks or racks. One small towel bar in the bathroom and no counter space. Just a couple of antique tables without drawer space. I like that water was provided by a water cooler rather than plastic bottles. Breakfast was by a voucher at the cafe next door -- eggs, a sandwich, fruit, juice and coffee. Good location, walkable to restaurants and a couple of pleasant squares.
