Great little hotel. Staff were all friendly and welcoming from arrival to departure. Do note that the front desk isn't staffed before at least 11am, and check in after 2300 incurs a fee as there is no overnight staff either. Breakfast was better than some, worse than others, but the eggs were actually cooked unlike many hotels I've stayed at recently. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a typical German affair, that is six feathers in a king sized duvet (I kid, of course, at least a little), so if you prefer a firm pillow bring your own. They do not have room service, but are quite amenable to you ordering via Lieferando, and the vending machine in the breakfast room is well stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during my stay. The four panes of window in the bathroom had 3 privacy screens leaving the upper-most one above the toilet (which looked right into the shower) uncovered until the steam hit the window. I'm not sure if this was an oversight or by design, but there were no windows able to look into the very deep shower so I didn't make a fuss about it. The bathroom had an electric towel warmer but no floor heating. The "safe" in the room was locked, non-functional, and could be carried away with ease. But if you're coming to this hotel, and this city, needing a safe you're doing something wrong.
