I enjoyed the breakfast, except the waffle, the batter isn't good quality, the bathroom still has hair but other than that is clean, convenient, close to restaurants, front desk are nice.

Room 141 on 8/10/2024 had so much mold on ceiling above shower and a stained tub so we did not shower. Using the bathroom was done as quickly as possible to reduce breathing in visible mold. The only saving grace is that there is another sink mirror area outside of the bathroom which helped minimize our exposure. The hotel was booked for a race, so there were no other rooms we could be moved to. I showed photos to desk attendant upon checkout on 8/11 and he said he would speak with his manager, but I have not heard from anyone. I paid over $100 and this room should not be rented out in this condition.

This hotel was a disappointment. Upon arrival we first noticed the sink that was detaching from the wall in the first room, in the next room we noticed how it had not been clean although we had been given the key. To top off this experience, beside the ice maker there was a dead coach roach along with a drug looking substance.

Awful smell and humidity in the room as we opened the room door for the first time. This was a one nighter stop on route to Florida; did not bother to cancel and go to another hotel! Strong smell of cigarettes at the side main entrance. Pool was ok and welcomed after a 12h drive from Canada; only positive that I can write on this hotel.

Horrible place. Not clean. Actually reporting to health inspector. Absolutely disgusting. Terrible customer service. Sheets were dirty. Infested with bugs. They have terrible customer support. Run away from this listing. I didn’t stay the whole time getting money back with CC company.

Start with a 5 - take off 1/2 circle because of the road noise, 1/2 for the poor bathroom setup (the soap shelf in the shower sticks out so you can bruise your back, it took five or more minutes to get hot water in the evening, some lesser issues), 1/2 off for the really dirty nightstand and light, and 1/2 off for no EV charger (c'mon, it's 2024, people stay at hotels because they travel and stay overnight). The beds were reasonably comfortable, and earplugs (the 30 decibel blocking kind) took care of the road noise. The hallways smelled of someone cooking but it was fine inside the room and most of the room was very clean - just the nightstand and light were fairly gross. Breakfast was good (it was not grab and go like they list on the web site) , but somewhat limited. As someone else mentioned, the "balcony" was a concrete slab we couldn't get to because of a locked sliding door that had substantial air gaps (probably made the road noise worse too). The hotel was inexpensive and we were just passing through. I would stay again if nothing better was available, but I would definitely look elsewhere if we visit Richmond again.
