We loved this place, it was central to the old town, but surprisingly quiet when we went to bed, which was so comfortable. The rest of the apartment was very well decorated (as they have pictured), with everything you need in the kitchen, but not used by us, too many amazing places to eat close by. And the whole apartment was very clean, the showers were great. It was easy to find & our host was a lovely man , who returned my texts straight away. We are hoping to go back next September & that’s the biggest compliment I could give. 10/10 from us 🥰

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Porto Enetico. Despite arriving late at night, we were met and shown around by Nic. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially watching the sun come up in the morning. Although there were tavernas underneath, there was no noise at all when the balcony door was closed. We were very happy there, bed was comfortable and although there were only 2 of us, it was a luxury to have a bathroom each. Great to have a washing machine. Dining table was handy when it was too hot to eat on the balcony at lunchtime. A/C was very effective and wifi was strong at all times. The cleaning lady, Vassa was always cheerful and very obliging. There was a daily clean and linen change if you wanted it. It would be even better if there was more cutlery, some small bowls and more cups then we wouldn't have to keep washing up. We will certainly be back again as we loved Rethymno and the apartment. Ευχαριστώ !

Μείναμε μια νύχτα στο δωμάτιο Ζαφειρενια. Μύριζε πάρα πολύ άσχημα και όλα μέσα ήταν παλιά και σε πολύ κακή κατάσταση. Η τουαλέτα ήταν σπασμένη και με σημάδια. Το ξύλο παντού στο δωμάτιο ελιωνε. Ντους, νιπτήρας, τουαλέτα ήταν παλιά και σε κακή κατάσταση. Έχω φωτογραφίες για όλα τα πιο πάνω. Επίσης, η κράτησή μας έλεγε δώματιο με μπαλκόνι. Δεν κατάλαβα ποιο ήταν το μπαλκόνι. Είχε ένα χώρο έξω με ένα τραπέζι σε άθλια κατάσταση και απλωστρες με απλωμένα ρούχα. Όταν μίλησα με τον υπεύθυνο δε φάνηκε να συμφωνεί μαζί μου. Να πω εδώ ότι πληρώσαμε 225 ευρώ για το πιο πάνω δωμάτιο. Και το χειρότερο, ο υπεύθυνος μας έστειλε με την κοπέλα της υποδοχής 40 ευρώ. Εξευτελιστικο!!! Εννοείται ότι τα επιστρέψαμε. Και αφού το δωμάτιο ήταν μια χαρά κατά την άποψη των υπευθύνων, προς τι τα 40 ευρώ; Ντροπή και μόνο ντροπή! Και εννοείται πως αν είχαμε χρόνο, θα φεύγαμε την ίδια στιγμή, αλλά δυστυχώς είχαμε στο Ρέθυμνο πολύ λίγες ώρες και δε θέλαμε να τις χάσουμε. Λυπάμαι πολύ.

The best things about this property was: - the location! It literally couldn’t be better! Right in Old Town Rethymno, with easy access to everything! - the view! Spend a little extra to get an apartment with an amazing view of the Venetian harbor, you won’t regret it! - the staff! Nektarios and his staff are wonderful warm and always professional. We enjoyed talking to them any chance we got! The apartment we rented was spacious and open, with a good use of space. It included a kitchen with a dishwasher and refrigerator. A cloths washer was located right under the stairs! That was super handy to have. The addition of two full toilets and showers was also wonderful and convenient when traveling with teens! It’s such a beautiful property, I can’t recommend it highly enough! Our favorite thing to do each night was to sit on the balcony, soaking up the amazing view and drink local wine. Absolutely the relaxing stay we needed! My only complaint was that our holiday came to an end and we had to depart. We will definitely book a room with Porto Enetiko Suites again!
