We seen a good deal which was an overnight stay, 2 course meal, unlimited drinks from 6pm-11pm plus breakfast which we thought was a great deal so we booked it. Hotel is really dated it really needs a refurb. Pool area was very unclean and the jaquzzi wasnt working that day which was disappointing. Sauna and steam room where in good condition though. Food in the night was really good and the staff are great...very friendly and chatty which was nice. Breakfast was nice aswell with a great selection. You order it once you are seated which is better than you average buffet style. Beds where comfortable but small and the room was clean just again very dated an needs a good upgrade!! No mini fridge in the room and the iron is miniture so id suggest bringing your own as it took me ages ironing a shirt!! Probably would come back and stay again as id like to explore more of ramsbottom as we never got the chance with staying and booking the package deal as the town looks really lovely.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff are personable, cheerful and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Peaceful nights sleep. Woke to bird song and tree views. The food was tasty, fresh and hot. All amenities you would expect in room. The hotels a bit tired looking but clean. The pool and jacuzzi very relaxing and not busy and open till 10pm. The town was full of interesting shops and very pretty. Well worth the money and would recommend.

My sister and I just spent a night away here on an all inclusive deal. We have been before. Enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea served by Ben. Relaxed in our room afterwards which was clean warm and comfortable. Pre dinner drinks served by Ben. Dinner comprised 2 courses. Good choice and was very much enjoyed. We were again served by Ben who seemed to be doing most things. All inclusive drinks from 6-11pm. Nice lounge area to relax in. Hotel not busy at all so quiet. A restful nights sleep followed by a good choice at breakfast. Hotel in a lovely setting. All in all a very nice night away. Thanks to Ben!!!

When we arrived we thought the hotel was dated and worn, one of our party compared it to faulty towers. But the bed looked okay and had a decent shower, so thought it would be fine for the two nights as it was close to where we wanted to be, near where we were meeting friends for the weekend. Things then turned sour when our shower sink and toilet was throwing out dirty brown water that we were told was because of a broken pipe .All of our rooms were affected but one was particularly bad and the manager did not want to come up to see how bad it was and gave us some free drinks to placate us and offered to fix us up in another hotel in Bury which was to far from where we wanted to be. The hotel gave us 25% off our bill for one night but overall it was one of the worst experiences we have had in a hotel anywhere in the country and ruined what was to be an enjoyable trip away with good friends.

After having my booking confirmed, I arrived to check in fairly late in the evening to be told that they had no availability and they were full. I showed them my confirmation which was still showing confirmed, but they told me it was an error. They refused to help me find another hotel or refund me, therefore I was left, late at night, as a lone female traveler, with no accommodation as other local hotels were full. The receptionist was really rude and didn’t even apologise. In the end, I drove around and eventually had to pay twice the price of the original room in a hotel which was not in a very nice area. Do not use this hotel, they clearly sold my room to someone else, and were really unhelpful and disrespectful , putting me at risk. To say I’m furious is an understatement.

The Mill Reunion Four friends catching up in a a Mill hotel full of character where the staff are very freindly and welcoming namelyJane ,Alex. Tasmin are very helpful and go above and beyond to meet your needs . The pool was relaxing and warm and the cuisine was delicious and hearty and the bar was available for a selection of drinks and snacks even games to entertain . Bar was relaxing and chilled and even though rainy outside there was a warmth of hospitality inside with a nice atmosphere. The staff work very hard to ensure a comfortable guest experience, and hope to return to enjoy any future offers .

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. The welcome we received was excellent and checking in was seamless. Our room was comfortable and clean but in need of some updating. The lunch and afternoon tea was tasty and served by the man who checked us in-his attention to detail was exceptional, he changed a tea cup as he’d noticed a crack in it.The evening meal was good, there was enough choice.

Having seen the reviews, I thought it would be appalling...! It was ok. The room itself was great - we had a four poster bed (suite), and yes it needs a bit of TLC, but it's in a really quiet location , which meant a great night sleep, on a reasonably comfy bed. Pool was ok , the changing rooms were filthy. Breakfast was pretty awful... I opted for porridge, which was weirdly inedible and tasteless . Not has horrendous as I had feared..!
