After 18 hours flight from HK to Rabat, we arrived at this hotel. The hotel interiors are good and comfortable but my room is a bit out of maintenance. The toilet looks dilapidated. But, the towels were clean. The carpet is old. We could smell odd. The aircon control is not functioning well. The bed reading lamps are not working. Inside the room, the light is dim and the corridor lights are automatically on/off depending on subject movements. So, when you sitting in the sofa, the corridor light is out and the room is a bit dark. You cannot control it. It does not make sense to have such set-up inside the room! Luckily, the dinner foods were delicious. We ordered the lamb and fish as main dish, which were well cooked. Breads matched with my taste and I loved eating them.

I don't remember having had such a bad hotel either in France or elsewhere. Even without stars. How dare they claim 4* even by Moroccan standards. Only one thing correct, the bed. The shelf in the bedroom: traces of uncleaned glass that can be removed if you scratch with your fingernail. This hotel is a disgrace. Our room did not overlook the nightclub. A chance. But on the street. Our friends, above the nightclub, couldn't sleep all night. One of our friends changed rooms for nothing better, except the smell. Barely polite reception staff. The very nice restaurant staff tries to compensate for the pbs... We are suffocating in the dining room. And the icing on the cake... the credit card doesn't work! The management seems to discover all this with each message! It was an agency that booked this hotel for us... We did not congratulate it.

It would of been a much better review except for the staff, the receptionist told us upon check in that our room would be ready in a few minutes, 40 minutes later I had to approach them, than all of a sudden our room was ready, the staff that work here are not friendly at all, especially in the breakfast room they were very rude and abrupt, one staff member was so upset that we did not use a tray, we didn't see them, but he over reacted, location was horrible we were far from everything, could not figure out the transportation, taxis are not very honest, so if you want to walk everywhere not a good choice, now for the good, there is a bar on site, rooms were very nice and clean, lobby area was very nice and bright, the bartender was very friendly, close to the train station if you are taking trains, we only stayed for 2 nights, staff need to improve their people skills, your in hospitality and need a good personality
