"I initially planned to stay for one night, but I was so pleased that I extended my stay for another day. What I loved most was being able to wash all my travel-worn clothes here. The hotel provided a dryer, washing machine, and laundry detergent, making it feel just as convenient as being at home. It gave me a chance to get all my clothes neatly cleaned after a long journey. This kind of hotel is perfect for regular folks like us who aren't looking for lavishness but definitely appreciate great value for money. The front desk staff were very friendly; they'd always greet me enthusiastically whenever I passed by, recommend tourist attractions, and even tell me where to find delicious BBQ. In short, it felt like they were genuinely dedicated to providing excellent service. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou. My car has a Sichuan A license plate, and I was initially worried about parking it in the hotel lot, thinking it might not be safe. But I was overthinking it; the hotel parking lot is actually very secure, and it's free too."

"The room was very spacious, with excellent soundproofing and a beautiful view. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset over the river from the comfort of the sofa. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, enough to try all the local Quanzhou delicacies. The overall stay experience was superb, easily meeting five-star standards. Hotel staff were always on hand to help with luggage upon arrival and departure, which made me feel incredibly well looked after. When I needed a drying rack late at night, the staff promptly brought one to my room. Every staff member I encountered in the lobby greeted me warmly, showcasing their high level of professionalism. The room's toiletries and even the key card were made of wood, giving a sense of luxury while remaining eco-friendly. The tabletop vanity mirror was from Mi Guang, reflecting excellent taste. While the city itself might be ordinary, the hotel is absolutely exceptional, truly living up to InterContinental standards. I certainly hope to stay here again."

"This hotel seems to have been converted from a guesthouse, and it's really good! It doesn't have a lot of fancy facilities, which is actually very convenient for older guests. They often don't know how to use new facilities, and there are many eateries nearby. There's a great place for bianshi (a type of dumpling) and another one for mazhi (mochi-like snack). It's very convenient to get to Quanzhou Ancient City. If you're coming from inside the ancient city, you can take a small electric car to Guan Di Temple station and then walk back to the hotel. Quanzhou Ancient City is a lot of fun, you can easily spend a whole day there. While there are many temples, you can get through them quite quickly. The incense burning is a bit too much, though. Definitely avoid Qingjing Mosque. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but they provide vouchers for the bakery downstairs. You can have bread and coffee in the morning, or if you're short on time, you can use the 9.9 RMB voucher to buy two pieces of bread. The laundry room is on the rooftop terrace and hasn't been renovated at all. You need a flashlight to do laundry at night 🔦, this really needs improvement. The front desk ladies are all lovely, and checking in foreign guests was also very easy."

"One of my most enjoyable stay not just in Fujian, but in China! I had stayed in hotels that offer lesser but cost premium. This hotel is clean, new, beautifully and thoughtfully designed to every detail. All the staff had been efficient, friendly, polite, helpful and very well-trained (professional yet sincere) in delivering great service. Be it the porter, the receptionist, the concierge or even the staff standing outside the restaurant or the housekeeping staff I walked past. I would go back to the hotel anytime again, not just because of the affordable price but for the experience. Great job there! Ps: I did not take many pics as the photos were exactly as taken in the pics provided."

"We arrived at the hotel around noon, and the front desk allowed us to check in early. Since the room we booked didn't have a window, the hotel upgraded us to a room with one, which was very thoughtful. We received a fruit platter upon check-in and warm congee in the evening, making for a fantastic experience. When we checked out to go sightseeing, they even provided extra bottled water. I'll definitely choose ECHARM again next time."

"Don't let the unassuming exterior of this hotel fool you – all their effort clearly went into the rooms. The rooms are incredibly cozy and inviting, completely free of any strange odors. The decor is exquisite, featuring substantial, high-quality materials that evoke a sense of classic elegance and a strong vintage charm. The service is equally impeccable. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a lovely handwritten welcome note. The mini-fridge was restocked with drinks daily, and afternoon snacks were delivered to our room. In the evenings, they even offer complimentary grass jelly (available upon request via phone). The location is perfect for families with children. Being within the service area of their convenient shuttle, we could easily hop on it to return to the hotel for a rest when we got tired from exploring, and then take it out again when we were ready to continue sightseeing. It was incredibly convenient! This place absolutely outshines those trendy, influencer-hyped five-star hotels! We'll definitely be choosing this hotel again on our next visit!"

"I was very touched by my stay here. I had to book a room very last minute for the October Golden Week holiday, and ended up choosing the relatively safe Holiday Inn. This particular hotel offers a complete range of amenities. While they don't have cribs, other baby essentials are very well-stocked. Also, one day when we returned from an outing, I noticed a note from the staff saying they had left extra water because they saw the baby needed formula. They even provided shaving supplies, probably noticing my husband shaves. Finally, when we checked out, the doorman gave a toy to our baby 🧸."

"My stay at Wanda Vista Hotel offered exceptional value for money!!! The location is fantastic, with abundant shopping and dining options nearby, including many well-established, historic eateries!!! The architectural design is remarkable, and the rooms are spacious and elegant, featuring premium bedding and advanced bathroom facilities (though I hope they could update the display screens on the smart TV, intelligent toilet, and bathtub). The hotel service was highly professional, personalized, and meticulous, successfully creating a sense of exclusivity and privacy. I had originally booked a Deluxe King Room, but the hotel kindly upgraded me to a Deluxe Suite! This was a fantastic gesture. The night view of the river from the room was truly captivating. Dining-wise, the hotel offers highlights such as Michelin-starred restaurants or specialty dining options. Both the breakfast and the hotel's other culinary offerings are truly worth experiencing, allowing guests to savor authentic flavors conveniently. (The hotel also has two other dining establishments.) Although I didn't dine at them, I explored the adjacent Wanda Plaza, where I enjoyed local dishes, snacks, and a meal at Wang Steak. The facilities are top-notch, including a stylish swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and exclusive business spaces. I had planned to work out, but after a pleasant stroll exploring the area, I found myself too exhausted! The suite truly excels in its sense of space and design! It features a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with separate wet and dry zones, an executive living room, two independent toilets, a shower, and a panoramic bathtub! Simply amazing!!! From the very first day of my stay, I was treated to an unforgettable experience and luxurious indulgence that delighted both body and mind. Every aspect is meticulously perfected, making guests feel uniquely valued and privileged. Wanda Vista Hotel's quality and style truly exceeded all my expectations!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A definite five-star rating!!!"

"This hotel is located in the heart of Quanzhou, making it incredibly convenient to reach attractions like Kaiyuan Temple, West Street, Guandi Temple, and Tianhou Temple by public transport or taxi. Driving is not recommended for exploring the main city sights. Although the hotel is quite old, it's well-maintained and nicely decorated. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and parking is convenient. A special shout-out to David, the lovely lady at the front desk, who always greets guests with a smile and proactively assists with any issues. Highly recommend!"

"The room was clean and tidy, and quite quiet. The lady at the bar was also very helpful and answered all my questions. The facilities aren't new, but they're decent enough. Just a heads-up: the electric water heater has a small capacity, so it can be a bit tight for washing hair, especially with the current temperatures. For those driving, be aware that parking spots at the hotel entrance are limited and first-come, first-served. If there are no spots available, you'll need to pay for parking elsewhere."
