Excellent service and location. Free coffee, teas, snacks and ice cream at reception area. Free self service laundry facility. Plenty of free bottled water in the room. Sound proof of the room is good. Had some good nights sleep despite being on the main road. Room is cleaned every day. It's not very spacious but plenty room for a solo traveller. Breakfast is typical of Chinese standard if you prefer Chinese food. Coffee is good though. Plenty of fresh fruit and croissants.i would stay here again if I am in the area again.

Great stay experience! The municipal transportation in Quanzhou is really unfriendly. I arrived in Quanzhou East at around 10pm. Fortunately, I checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Taishang District, which gave me my first peace of mind and eliminated the haze of not being able to take a taxi at the high-speed rail station. The guy at work was very serious and responsible and provided a lot of help. I stayed in a family room with my parents. Although it only had children's bedding, it did not affect my mood during the stay. It was really great. The hotel facilities are complete and new, clean and tidy, and the breakfast was rich. It is highly recommended. The stay experience was very good. The next morning we took a taxi to a nearby beach and then to downtown Quanzhou. If you are arriving in Quanzhou East at night or visiting the Taiwan Business District, I highly recommend it.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very polite, helpful and hardworking! There's the nice note in the hotel room with some snacks. Room also had several travel reference guides with lots of pictures. Great for last minute planning! Receptionists were very kind when answering some rather silly questions, haha. We only stayed one night, the next day it was different staff. I had asked them for the name of the staff member who check us in, so here's a shout out to ”小莲” ”Little Lotus” Thanks for your help! Highly recommend anyone to stay here! 5/5

I spent 3 nights here, and the overall experience was not pleasant. When I arrived the first day, the front desk gave me a room that was not livable. It was so close to the next building (see photos). I requested to have the room changed for the second night. The manager upgraded to a better room. However, I wanted to try the spa using the coupon from the hotel. The spa manager said this coupon is only good for spending 980 or more, but it wasn't said anywhere in the coupon. Then, I wanted to use Dianping. She said they no longer honor Dianping. This hotel accepts large group tour, the tour girl was yelling at the lobby using an amplified speaker, which is very unprofessional at a 5 star hotel. The third night was the most expensive. She said she would honor the ctrip price but charge me 100 more. I don't understand why it is so difficult to be honest. The breakfast was good, the service was friendly but not honest, if you are not 100% alert, you will pay more. The Japanese restaurant was not good, the eel wasn't fresh and the taste was decent.

We stayed at 2207 and also booked a room for my parents at 1519 that had lake view. Overall a great experience. The hotels in smaller cities in China often offer the best value and higher quality and larger rooms. Location is great except that the street in front is very busy and some taxi don’t want to take guests from the hotel because the entrance way costs 5 yuan. You need to explain that for guests the fee can be waived if you register the license plate with the lobby. However this isn’t really common practice so you wouldn’t think of it. Loved the buffet breakfast. Westerners are a rare sight these days (we haven’t seen one). My son who grew up in Canada (but looked Asian) really appreciated the western style breakfast while my family enjoyed Beijing flavored breakfast dishes. Wanda mall is next door so super convenient for dining and shopping! Top value if you come visit Quanzhou.

This trip to Chaoshan and Quanzhou, the last stop is Quanzhou 📍. I looked at a lot of hotel options online and finally chose Quanzhou Xiamen Airlines Hotel. Entering the hotel gives people a refreshing feeling. The reservation requires a quiet room on a high floor, and the hotel meets all the requirements. The service is particularly thoughtful and enthusiastic. The service staff will take the initiative to greet you when you enter the hotel. There is free self-service coffee and bottled water next to you when you check in. There will also be free self-service fresh fruits (good quality and variety), bottled water and snacks as soon as you come out of the elevator on the floor. There are small robots for room service. I especially recommend the hotel's rich breakfast variety, as well as local delicacies. The rice noodle soup is super delicious 😋 A bowl a day 🥣, bread and cakes are also recommended, but it's a pity that I didn't take many photos 📷. In short, it was a very satisfactory stay experience, and it must be a five-star rating!

Excellent service, it was a great stay. The employees assist with our taobao collections earnestly and answers to enquiries clearly. A few points to improve, We went as a family, would have been better if they had playgrounds for kids, could have provided a swimming cap (not aware of necessary) and the Aircon can be colder.

My husband and I chose the Overseas Chinese Hotel when we came to Quanzhou. The room was very clean, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic, and took the initiative to help us upgrade our room. Their breakfast was very rich, with fruit delivered every day and sweet soup for midnight snacks. It was very close to nearby attractions. If you don't want to walk out of the hotel, there are small white cars that take you to various attractions for 2 yuan. It's very convenient. I will choose this hotel next time.
