Although the appearance and decoration of the hotel are quite old, the moment I checked into the room, I felt quite comfortable and warm. Although the room is not big, it is not crowded. There is a separate bathroom, wardrobe, water bar, TV cabinet, and writing desk. It is suitable for business trips and traveling alone with children to book this single room. I ordered 2 takeouts of lunch and fruit in the room, and they were delivered to the takeout point on the first floor (near the front desk), which is very fast and convenient. There is a swimming pool on the sixth floor of the hotel. Although the swimming pool is not big, the water in the shallow water area is very shallow and the water temperature is relatively high. It is very suitable for children to play in the water. There are also children taking swimming lessons. However, there is no air conditioning in the swimming pool, and only the windows were opened, which made it feel a little stuffy. There is a book bar on the second floor, but I didn't have time to go there. When I just checked in, the front desk lady Si Rui sent me a brief introduction to the hotel and explained the location of the swimming pool, book bar, and self-service laundry room, which was very considerate. I only stayed in Junyu for a few hours because I was catching a train. I will stay for a few more days next time if I have the chance. Although I have stayed in luxury hotels and popular B&Bs, Junyu gave me a very friendly and cost-effective feeling. If you come to Qinhuangdao city to play, it is a good choice and deserves praise.

J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

I am very satisfied with the price. The door is close to the train station, so the bus to Shanhaiguan Laolongtou Beidaihe is very convenient. The most important thing here is that the bus is fixed at 2 yuan.

Great location and great rooms including the fitness center. However, the staff were terrible. On the first day they gave us a room which had dirty tissue paper at the toilet area still there. After complaining they changed our room and while one of us were in the shower they mistanenly gave our room key to another guest who then tried to enter our room. They compensated us with free breakfast but such an error was not expected at a Marriott hotel in the first place. Very disappointing. It also felt like the staff didn't really care the whole time with a very emotionless style of talking. Unfortunate.

I was upgraded to a Jimu twin room for free. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and clean. The children had a very comfortable stay! The table is also equipped with a wireless charging pad, which is very user-friendly! When leaving the store, two children were given a bag of small gifts each, which was very thoughtful!
