Hotels Near Egret Island in Qinhuangdao

Very good B&B. Super close to the beach. Clean and tidy. There is a large and clean restaurant where you can cook your own meals. Book breakfast one day in advance. The breakfast is delicious. The super big buns are especially delicious. You can eat until you are full. 😁

I have had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I had a large, well-furnished, elegant room. I tried to upload a photo but was not successful despite it having less than 1 MB. The hotel staff was helpful with the bus route to the Old Dragon Head, a must-see if you are in Shanhaiguan. Additionally, they were friendly, offering me fresh fruits. I will return to this hotel if my future travel does take me to Shanhaiguan.

View from the window is disgusting, a lot of garbage on the streets out there, box houses, feels like a ghetto. Working table and some surfaces were full of dust. At the same time the staff is very polite. There were some problems at checin with passports verification, and room key become disabled at some point. So staff helped with these. Breakfast was ok, not strong varied, but tasty and hearthy. At night main entrance is closed, you'll need to use sideway entrance (follow near 24/7 label)

It was such an unique experience to stay in a hotel inside the ancient city wall, it felt like travelled back to China in the olden days. As it was off-peak season when we visited 山海关，we were upgraded to a family room, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. As it was rather cold and we were tired from all the walking, we decided to make life easy by eating at the restaurant within the hotel. We didn't expect much though. But..., we were much much more than surprise the dishes were Ace standard, be it in presentation or taste! A big big thumb up! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times. P.S the teapot was not filled with tea but a yummilicious 松茸汤。

Excellent hotel, I would highly recommend anybody visiting Shanhaiguan to stay here. The building is beautiful and includes a mini museum exhibition of calligraphy and lovely gardens. The room was clean, comfortable and provided 6 bottles of complementary water. The staff were friendly and helpful, even letting me check out at 2pm since I had a 3pm train to Dalian. Location wise the hotel is situated right next to the first gate under Heaven tourist area. You can get a good view of the gate even from the hotel courtyard, also walkable to restaurants and the drum tower just a couple hundred meters away. Lastly it’s just a short taxi ride from the rail station (1.6km/5min/8rmb) and laolongtou Great Wall section (7km/15min/15rmb).

The room is very clean, and the landlord buddies are also very enthusiastic. After busy work, the experience is very good, and I also introduced affordable hotels, thank you! ! Will come again next time! !

It's in the community of Shanhai Tongwan, and the location is easy to find! Convenient parking! The environment is also very good! When I checked in, I booked a twin bed, and they were very considerate and moved me to a room with a king bed where I could watch the sunrise! Xiaobao is very happy! !

Budget hotel, the hardware and service are comparable to 5 stars, the room is large, the equipment and facilities are very new. The room is very clean and has no odor, the bed sheets are clean and new, the shower is very comfortable, the WFI is very fast, and it is very fast to download large files. Great. The location is great and the service is warm. Genting Hotel is a must for travel. The service is very good, the front desk sister is also very good, and it feels like living at home

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

位置特別好找，就在秦皇島第一醫院的斜對面，有專屬的停車場，方便又安全。酒店房間佈局很合理，房間找對較大，前台服務特別熱情，房間衞生也乾淨。
