Western afternoon tea: What I was most dissatisfied with was the afternoon tea. I originally thought that afternoon tea was particularly ceremonial, until I went there, I was dumbfounded! Afternoon tea actually gave coffee in a disposable cup, and the afternoon tea was as shown in the picture, that was too bad! If that's the case, why would I spend this price to buy a set meal? In addition, one waiter took care of the reception of more than 10 people, and the service was not in place.
What was even more disappointing was that the hotel had already reported this problem at the time, but there was no reply or anything like that, which felt unworthy of the price and service.

The waiters were warm and attentive. When asked about the nearby food and fun places, they enthusiastically introduced them one by one. More activities during the Chinese New Year can attract more people. The squirrels in the squirrel park are very cute and not afraid of people. It seems that they are used to being fed by tourists and are very dexterous in taking things.

Service here is good and the staffs are very attentive; the facilities, especially the hot spring area is good quality, great atmosphere in around the hotel and it’s exactly why I like the New world hotel brand. It’s a form of art.
Some disappointment though as we were expecting a relaxing atmosphere during our stay, there’s actually a wedding function at the restaurant which makes it quite noisy through out our dinner.

After looking around on the platform, I finally chose this homestay. It was the right choice. The environment is close to the mountains, the air is fresh at night, you can chat and drink tea in the backyard, the room layout is reasonable, the hygiene is satisfactory, and there are food nearby. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the scenic spot. There is also a self-service shopping cabinet with water, drinks, and snacks.

The room was equipped with all the essential amenities, including a reliable air conditioning system, a cozy bed, and a nice shower room. Moreover, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and politeness shown by the receptionists; their assistance was invaluable. I absolutely recommend Atour Qingyuan hotel to anyone visiting this city.

The most satisfactory thing is that the service staff are very enthusiastic and there are many parking spaces, which is also very convenient. AAsh & MedsOur stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing.
I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean.
What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony.
Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.

Llpmm27This is my first time staying at this hotel. I have always stayed at the Garden Hotel next door. The price is quite favorable, but the service is really poor. Before checking in, I had communicated with the platform many times, hoping to get a room with the same size and layout as the pictures shown in the hotel. The hotel agreed, but when I went to the front desk to check in, it said there was no such room type? A room of less than 10 square meters was arranged. After reluctantly checking in, we contacted the Ctrip platform. After the platform communicated on our behalf, the hotel agreed to change rooms for us (a special thank you to Ctrip customer service for solving the problem very quickly and thoughtfully). This thing makes me feel that it is quite a loss. Although there is a room, I am not allowed to check in, and I am tormenting the customers. After checking in, we were given a room close to the elevator. It was very noisy when they were coaxing you in the middle of the night, so I couldn’t sleep well!

CCarelThe room is quite nice and modern actually, although quite small. Especially like that the basin is outside of the toilet and there is ample space to put toiletries and cosmetics. Only thing I dislike is the door stopper is right there, my leg knock on it a few times, just need to be wary. The mirror light above the basin is touch screen, very cool. Shower pressure is good and bed is comfy but the storage space is minimum, just a steel cupboard. The view of gulong xia is magnificent, though certain things are man made but it is all done so beautifully, prepare to take lots of pictures around the hotel. The tourist attraction is right next door, unfortunately they stop rafting at this season, but u can still enjoy the mega waterfall and walking the glass bridge, view is magnificent. I went to the hot spring he zong wen quan recommended by the hotel receptionist, far away from the hotel but the place is so surreal and beautiful. Breakfast is just the minimal but good enough to feel the empty stomach. I have good memory of gulong xia.

KKimberlybbThe travelling experience in xilegu was complicated. Some aspects were excellence with some areas to be improved. Service was good. Our family had fun in circus performance though the scale was small and without safety measures. Breakfast buffet food was good. Hotspring was fine and water park hygiene can be better especially the water quality. The pool floor was full of subtle tiles due to lack of maintenance. Accommodation was good and spacious with private hotspring. The staff kept reminding to leave a comment which is very detailed mind.

GGuest UserThe room was small and it had obviously been smoked in, in the past. But it was good enough for what I needed. The price I got the room for was very good in my mind. The staff don't know English, but they are helpful and willing to try to get things worked out. I will say that the room had numerous potential ”OCD Triggers.” Like the light switches that couldn't be adjusted so they all pointed the same way or the useless doorstop.
If you step out of the hotel and turn left, there is a nice restaurant on the corner that the hotel recommended to me. If you are looking for vegetarian options, simply continue in that direction for a few blocks and look for a small restaurant that advertises healthy options. So I can say that the location is near some good food options. Also, if you continue in that direction you will find a lovely park next to the river. It is a great place to take a walk.

GGuest UserThe hotel is just behind the p2 parking lot in Huangtengxia. You can park the car in the bathroom and walk over. It is very close. The external environment is very good. The stream next to it can play in the water. The environment is similar to ordinary homestays. The boss is very enthusiastic, there is a place to eat inside, the dishes are OK, the only downside is that the restaurant does not have air conditioning.

There is a small door in the garden that can go directly down to the swimming lane, but the second floor of the villa is up and down the stairs outside the house, and you have to go from the outside to the first floor room to go down to the swimming lane. The public hot spring pool is relatively clean, and fruits, sugar water, etc. are unlimited and free. There is also a children's slide and bubble pool, which is very suitable for parents and children. There are also fireworks shows at night during the National Day, and the breakfast is also good. Special praise for the customer service Xiaoyu, who added WeChat as soon as I checked in, and the service was attentive and timely, which deserves praise~

GGuest UserVery helpful and friendly hosts. Location is almost at the top of the Yao Village, close to the temple and 50m from the street walking up to the temple. With the help of our hosts we found it without problems. You have to park the car at the parking lot of the village and then walk up the hill on the main stoneway. With every step you take uphill, you feel more and more the charm of this village and its people. You feel like in a past century. And as you are walking uphill and turn to see the beautiful scenery, you will wish to stay more time. This is the place to forget about stress at work and the noise of big cities. Here you can relax and fill up your batteries.
We booked a basic room with a small bathroom, what was enough for us for 1 night. But you have to get used to the chinese toilets. The view from the balcony was absolutly beautiful. The hosts have a small restaurant across the street and you can order from your room and enjoy the tasty food on the balcony. If you have enough time, stay at least 1 night. You will not regret. One of our favourite villages in China.
