Cold Spring Hotel

Located above the Silver Spoon cafe, the Cold Spring B&B offered a wonderful opportunity to dine and relax for an extended weekend. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the quiet room, which was just separate enough from the bustling, small town main street which was right outside our window. The accommodations we're new and elegantly--especially the beds which offered comfort atop a sturdy, quiet frame. However, the best part of the visit was by far the food! Breakfast included, gave us the option to many of our favorites; including options ranging from classic dinner fare (although much better than average), to dishes for fellow foodies, and even chicken and waffles as big as your face. Lunch and Dinner were also half-off which gave us an option to stay absolutely comfortable and satisfied with some of my favorite dishes. We also had a plethora of snacks at our desire throughout the stay. I highly recommend this establishment both for dining and to stay. Jimmy and his staff were extremely personable, hospitable, and welcoming. Check them out on Air BnB if you have trouble booking through other platforms.

We had lunch today, and it was delicious!! The avocado toast with hardboiled eggs was fresh, and the toast was nice and crispy. The Turkey Lovers panini was just as fresh and filling!! Strawberry pink lemonades were the perfect accompaniment on a hot day. The owner is really nice; answers any questions, helps you order, if you're not sure what you want, and doesn't rush you out.

I had such a nice experience staying here this weekend. The owners are super friendly and try to be as accommodating as possible. Even the cafe up front is half off for the people staying at the place which is a bonus! They even allowed us to drop off our stuff to go explore until it was check in time and offered to hold our belongings after check out. Great hospitality and great people. Highly recommend.

Hotel is comfortable, very clean and centrally located on Main Street. They offer some lunch offerings and muffins and coffee for breakfast, as well as cold drinks. Bottled water was in our rooms, which was appreciated.

There are many wonderful places to stay in the Cold Spring area. This is NOT one of them. My family and our puppy wanted to spend an evening in the village. During check in we had a disagreement over a cost for a cot. The owner screamed at us to leave. He was completely out of line! His son became unhinged…cursed and then wanted to assault us! We filed a report with the police. My family was scared and we had to stay elsewhere. Beware.

Something special about the Cold Spring Hotel and that is the staff! Jimmy, Frank, and Adam truly made us feel at home. They were so welcome to our mini schnauzer Joseph too. The Caprese/Basil panini was scrumptious and the fresh brewed morning coffee was the best in town. We can’t wait to come back in the fall.

My wife and I stayed for one night in May and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location is in the heart of Main Street and couldn’t have been better. The owner was so welcoming, answering any question that we had and after we had checked out when I contacted him to say I thought I’d left something at the hotel (turns our I hadn’t… sorry!) he literally responded within two minutes and checked the room for it. Most hotels do not reply that quickly. The rooms are behind a cafe which, while a little unusual, fits perfectly with the vibe of Cold Spring itself. It all added to the sense that we stayed somewhere unique. While we didn’t eat at the cafe it smelled and looked amazing. Room was spotless, bed was big and comfortable and air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. We would definitely stay again!

My friends and I struggled to find an affordable restaurant on a packed october Saturday. Suddenly, we stumbled into this restaurant. This restaurant did not disappoint. The manager and his employer were very easy-going and helpful. I truly enjoyed my gyro platter which came with an abundance of vegetables. The restaurant was clean, the prices were right, the food was tasty, and the portions were fair. I would have preferred if the food came with fries or another side, but I was satisfied with our choice to dine here.

The hotel has very executive suites, perfect lounge for VIP, a great pull and is at the centre of homabay town. The cocktails are amazing and the employees are very respectful. It has an ideal arrangement for meetings and conferences.
