I, ***** with my wife and kid, stayed here for day. It was a pleasant stay for us. The hotel is located on marine drive road and near light house. We stayed in a front sea facing room. Though, the room was small if we see the price, it was clean and had all modern amenities. We found bed size small to accommodate a couple with kid. The best part was the sea facing balcony with two chairs and a small center table. Food quality was good as we took only dinner there. Again, the breakfast (we added with booking only) was very nice offering a wide variety of options one can choose. We found the staff behaviour polite and kind but a bit unfriendly. They should try to attend the guests, especially non-bengali ones (no offence please) with more smiling faces.

The sea facing balcony is the best feature. Breakfast is okay. Something needs to be done about the smell in the corridor and breakfast room. Foot mats need to be changed. Cleanliness is average.

Hotel location is awesome. On the beach. Auto stand is outside the hotel. Market is very very near. Hotel staff is superb. Food is good. My stay was made soooo memorable. View from my room

Sonar bangla puri is certainly a very good hotel with all basic amenities and nice and courteous staffs. Food is also good with perfect view from hotel room. We stayed in platinum front sea facing room. The rooms are a bit small but nicely decorated. Overall a pleasant stay.

Location, amenities and service are excellent. Bathroom a little small though clean with all toiletries. Wish their check out time can be a little later

Food quality is very average. Rooms are congested and small. Staff is not trained properly and not hospitile. Rooms are expensive with respect to room charge. Expect better from sonar bangla

Good room but it's old property. Location is best. Just need to cross the road for sea beach. Breakfast is good
