Thurrock West

Location pretty grim as it’s next to the Dartford Bridge and Tunnel. But once you are in you can forget about that as the rooms are decent and spacious, the restaurant is excellent for an evening meal and the breakfast is good value particularly if you go for the meal deal for dinner and breakfast. A good stay overall.

We recently stayed at West Thurrock Premier Inn and, unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing. The room was dirty from the moment we walked in. There were noticeable marks on the bed, and the desk chair was covered in crumbs and liquid stains. The floor was the worst part—clearly, it hadn’t been hoovered since the last guest. There were bits all over the floor, which would have been bad enough on its own, but with a 1-year-old, it became impossible to let her crawl or play without her getting covered in dirt. The room had an unpleasant smell, like wet dog, which only worsened as the room got warmer, turning into a damp, musty odor. We tried opening the windows to help with the smell, but that made the room cold, and with a young child, that wasn’t ideal. Despite being there for three days, no one came to clean the room. By the second day, we had to put our trash outside because the bin was full and the smell was becoming unbearable. Overall, the room felt in desperate need of a refresh. A new coat of paint, fresh carpet, and a new desk chair would have made a big difference. Wet towels were left on the floor for the entire duration of our stay, as no one came to collect or replace them. To make matters worse, we couldn’t even raise these concerns easily, as there was rarely anyone at the reception desk when we went out. We’ve stayed in many Premier Inns before, and while we know they’re not luxury hotels, we’ve always had clean, comfortable stays. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here, and we doubt we’ll stay at this particular location again.

We was absolutely surprised, what we found in the room. I only ring to hotel to ask to book a dinner table and mentioned that we have anniversary. As soon as walked in it was stunning surprise waiting for us. The lady in reception meet as with smile,when we got a key from the room, she said enjoy your lovely weekend. The dinner was absolutely delicious, the team seems very friendly and professional. The room was outstanding, will definitely back to stay again.

The staff were amazing and looked after my party so well.Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my teams stay was special. The service in the restaurant was brilliant the food was delivered quickly by table and was delicious.The manager made sure that my party was looked after and had everything that they needed.

Hotel was nice and clean and breakfast was good plenty on offer. Only thing that let this place down was the staff, they are not friendly at all, the woman on reception had a face like thunder the whole time we were here. The bar was closed during the day so no lunch was available. The bar was open on a night but one drink was £5.55 an hour later the exact same drink was £4.55 think they are just charging what they like.

There’s been a lot of unrest here lately, But right now it’s back at the top. Things happen the kitchen was shut and sometimes a little understaffed. But now these ladies are smashing it. Everyone is happy in their roles, nothing is too much, they are all so lovely. Without forgetting the only male that works there Dimitri! He’s a class act relaxed and gets the job Done. I chose the Gammon AGAIN tonight (well done) and it was the best gammon I’ve had in years. Even the chef came out to ask if it was ok they’re all lovely here here’s to another 3yrs

Room was usual premier inn standard and you know what you’re getting. Heating was switched off though? Spent ages trying to get it to work. In the end had to we ask reception who said it’s turned off and they will turn it on?? Lighting was pretty bad for female to get ready.

Was very late but surprised welcome ,was staying with my daughter. Was late dinner 🍽 but was delicious, room was specious and clean,was have small issue,but receptionist was very helpful I think her names was Edita .Surprised with treats

We choose this hotel as we came for party.so we disaded to stay over with family. First impretion was feel very welcome of the staff who meet us, was very profeaional,friendly. The room was very siutprised with the kids siurprise with competition and treats.in the morning on the breakfast was staff involving kids in drawing a smile.after our breakfast was staff so involving kids to draw. We loved every moment spend in this friendly hotel.
