"Great location, close to everything, friendly staff, very good wifi, and that's about it... otherwise, it's a complete letdown! The hotel is old, but that wouldn't be a problem if the facilities worked properly, but that's not the case. The beds are not comfortable at all and the shower water wouldn't get hot even with fervent prayer! Worse still, it cost $80 a night, so it wasn't cheap either. Punta del Este must have much better hotels at similar prices."

"Atlantico Boutique Hotel is located at Southern tip of Punta del Este. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive to Punte Del Este bus terminal and 25 mins walk to 'The Mano' sculpture. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance towards Marina direction. There is a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel, and it looked cosy. There were some complimentary coffee and tea at 2nd lounge room every day from 1pm to 7pm. The decor in the lounge room was quite clean and modern. Our room is a king-size bed and a single bed overlooking the beach on the 2nd floor. The room is average in size and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small, and the bed linen and towels were new. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel where you can catch a bus to Enjoy Punte Del Este Casino and resort."

"It's deplorable; the hotel is poorly maintained. There was no heating, and after we complained, they brought us a fan heater. We booked a room with a double bed and found two single beds, which they changed for us. There was a strong smell of paint. They told us bathrobes cost $5, but when we went to ask for one, it was $10. Everything was terrible."
