Dhensa Boutique Resort provided a perfect base to visit the Punakha area, with a large quiet room with fabulous view and all the amenities expected of a top resort. Meals were varied and high quality, providing a wide range of options in addition to Bhutanese. Staff was always attentive, Mr. Ngawang Samten especially so.

Hotel e camere molto belle confortevoli e pulite . Unico punto negativo sala da pranzo : sembra un po’ asettica , manca un tocco di colore e qualcosa che renda orango e cena un piacere oltre al cibo . Fredda , senza personalità. Cucina: grazie al cuoco , il cibo molto buono e non speziato , che a volte sembra impossible trovarlo . SPA: bravissime le massaggiatrici, belle le camere con bella vista sul verde . Peccato che la hot tub esterna non sia in funzione , comunque il direttore ha assicurato che vi stanno lavorando . Ultimo punto : come detto grazie allo chef , il cibo era delizioso . Comunque , il prezzo delle camere è fascia alta , e la cena dovrebbe esser servita ai tavoli a la carte, con una scelta limitata di piatti ma comunque a la carte. Dopo averne discusso con il direttore , la seconda sera abbiamo potuto usufruire di questa possibilità. Grazie !

Stayed at the hotel with family in august and we absolutely loved the place. Charming hotel with an excellent Spa and the food was amazing. A good mix of local, continental & Indian. The breakfast spread was super, staff was helpful & polite. The view from our villas was superb. Would highly recommend this hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dhensa, and it was truly a dream vacation resort. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the resort's stunning natural surroundings. The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to the chef(Suraj) for creating delicious meals, and being so warm and welcoming.

We were very lucky to have planned our trip with Travel Guru in Thimphu. This meant we were able to stay in the very nice resort in Phunaka. Everything was excellent, very nice, puristic decor and very, very good food. Unfortunately too short. Next time we will plan at least 2-3 days. The hotel is beautifully situated in the forest. Thank you

Excellent hospitality, beautiful rooms with a view and amazing amazing food. Had only Bhutanese food and it was so delicious .Chef Suraj and his entire team are just too good. They gave us suggestions on our choices which were well appreciated.

Beautiful location - atop a hill looking over the city and the river. Dhensa is 'text-book minimalistic' architectural marvel. Straight lines - tall white walls, wood and glass monotone furnitures, stone/slate stairs. Combine that with great food, and exceptional SPA facility.

We stayed at Dhensa for 2 nights and I would highly recommend it. It's a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting which offers good food and has a friendly staff. Our multi generational family all loved it and we would recommend to stay here while in the area.

Falling short of words to describe the experience here Simple yet elegant Comfortable Lovely view from the room Food was just awesome Compliments to the chef and the F and B manager ! Breakfast and dinner both had an elaborate spread for everyone The balcony outside the room made all the difference at night too...
