Hotels Near Tahiti Lagoon Paradise in Punaauia

This hotel is very close to the airport, the hotel can drop off the airport, charges are required. It's about 1500 francs and it only takes 6 minutes to get to the airport. The hotel has a show for breakfast and dinner, and it is still worth seeing. The French restaurant is pretty good.

This was our first stop on what turned out to be a spectacular vacation in one of the most beautiful countries on earth. Te Moana is a super, more intimate resort. From the time we arrived, the staff were always smiling and ready to help in any way. It seems that genuine friendliness and helpfulness are part of the DNA of this country. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed and our suite with a view of the sea was splendid. The restaurant is top-notch with delicious food. The star attraction of the hotel is the rimflow pool with an excellent pool bar with a broad range of well-made cocktails and outstanding sunsets over the neighbouring island of Moorea. We will definitely be back.

The hotel's address is just above the small slope opposite Faa'a Airport. It's really steep. We have two big suitcases, a small suitcase, two backpacks, three or four bags, and we don't know how to move them. Too much baggage is really not recommended to live here. There is a sea-Chinese restaurant near the hotel, and you will have a super-satisfaction before returning home. Hotel health is still very clean, suitable for early morning flights and do not want to be too tossed.

Starting from the location, the hotel is about 4 kms away from the airport, and you can hear the planes lifting off and landing. However, note that this hotel does not provide a shuttle service, meaning that you need to arrange for your own transportation - even if you arrive at 3 in the morning, and this means either taking a taxi or renting a car (but the second option won't work if you arrive outside of work hours). The taxi will cost about 20000 XPF, during day time and also if you have a large group of people. Not more. I got scammed by a taxi driver on the night I arrived. Lost about 4.5k XPF on that. Great start to the stay. The city, Papeete is reachable by walking about 15 minutes along the coast road, which doesn't always have a great pedestrian walkway. This is also somewhat of an annoyance, where the hotel is of decent make, but the environment doesn't match with that. Next, the hotel staff itself, and the service they provide. It is totally a mixed bag. It horrifies me to say that your experience will be dominated by whom is serving you. Some of the staff are horribly inflexible and utterly arrogant. Others are extremely helpful. And this also applies to the Hilton Moorea, where people won't even rent you a changing room and a towel, even when you have a booked tour with their event providers and the bloody tour starts from the hotel pier. If the hotel wasn't clean, I would have been very disappointed. The beds are okay. Tried some facilities, the swimming pool, three of four restaurants and the Spa, and I have to say that everything is exceedingly expensive, but as a redeeming point, the service at these facilities is also rewarding, though maybe not at the level you would expect at this price class. Overall I consider this place not worthy of being called a five star hotel. Due to my experiences with the staff, I wouldn't even give them a fourth star. The Intercontinental is better altogether.

Was fantastic, very friendly people, but: I was slippered 28th by a waterkey of biff off shower, my neck quite (at least) knitting, was not seriously treated, towels were laid down and I had to pray for ice to cool One of the women gave me ice. Now; 1 week later: can still not use my hand Also: leakage in the village, idem This is not taken seriously, even there is only a towel placed and again appoint: nothing, so you are only dry towels picked up and the weak thrown in them hook Erg jammer, want was verder goed I should have just let a doctor sweep and pay them cats, seeing them backwards. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à la Pension Te Miti à Tahiti. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement Fred et son épouse, qui s'est montré disponible et très serviable tout au long de notre séjour. La pension est idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied d'une belle plage de sable blanc, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des eaux cristallines de Tahiti. De plus, elle est à proximité de plusieurs commodités locales, ce qui est très pratique pour explorer les environs sans avoir à se déplacer trop loin. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables et propres. Elles offrent tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour agréable. La décoration est authentique et reflète bien l'atmosphère polynésienne. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et comprend des fruits frais locaux, du pain, et des confitures . Fred et son épouse sont toujours prêt à donner des conseils sur les meilleures excursions à faire et les endroits à visiter. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les recommandations pour des activités locales et des restaurants. La Pension Te Miti offre une ambiance conviviale et détendue. C'est un lieu parfait pour se détendre et se déconnecter. Les espaces communs sont agréables et bien entretenus, avec des jardins tropicaux qui ajoutent une touche de verdure et de tranquillité. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Pour un prix très raisonnable, vous bénéficiez d'un service de qualité et d'un cadre paradisiaque. C'est une excellente option pour ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience authentique sans se ruiner. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement la Pension Te Miti à tous ceux qui cherchent un hébergement abordable, confortable et convivial à Tahiti. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !
