Marina Suites Gran Canaria

Stayed for our 4th time for 11 nights in October was amazing as usual. Staff - So friendly and helpful they are a credit to the hotel Pool - Clean always plenty of beds with a view to die for. Beds need looking at though as some form off cushions are needed Hotel - Excellent clean as always Food - we where s/c for only had lunch which was really good Room - spacious clean with amazing views over the Marina, only thing is the bathrooms are looking dated and definitely need refurbished. Another amazing holiday thanks to all the staff see you in December for the NY again

This hotel is amazing and much nicer than the brochures look. We cannot fault it, room amazing, bed comfy, view outstanding, and the food was really lovely. Staff went over and above but if I had to mention one person in particular it would be Samira what a lovely helpful, fun lady nothing was too much trouble for her and always done with a smile. The whole team were amazing to be honest. The only negative well not even negative to be fair was that the rule of no putting towels on beds was not enforced as lots of people were saving beds with towels and not turning up to mid day or even later to use them. We always managed to get a bed but never got the chance to have a shot overlooking the sea as same old people saving with towels. The restaurant was lovely and one night a week stays open until late to have BBQ which was worth going to as food and atmosphere lovely. Shame it didn’t stay open more nights a week as feel this would really make a difference to some. Overall we had an amazing time at this hotel so much so we are booking to come back next year for two weeks. If you want quiet it’s the place to be and if you want noise and nightlife it’s only 5 minutes away. Amazing restaurants near by, highly recommend Nube and Toro Bravo food was amazing, staff helpful and funny and all reasonable prices

Amazing hotel, really friendly staff, plenty of food options on the lunch menu, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty for the whole family to do, lovely infinity pool over looking the sea. The only comments I would have is that the pool bar could stay open past 4pm for evening meals and to watch the sunset by the pool, and maybe a small shop at the hotel to grab any essentials. Other than that 5 star experience.

Stayed in a suite with a lovely view over the little harbour. Lots of little local bars and restaurants within easy walking distance if you did not want to venture into the centre of town but only 5 euros if you are not a good walker by cab. All staff very polite and looked after us very well. Room was immaculate with lovely furnishings. Good wifi and tv with English stations. Towels supplied were nice and soft with toiletries supplied to the walls. Pool towels also supplied but check before handing in for a new towel that they have them in the cupboard.

The Marina Suites are in a great location, basically at sea level when so many apartments are at varying heights on the cliff sides - a huge thing in my mind. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the most popular bars/shops/restaurants but that’s also an advantage as the apartments themselves are away from any revellers. The marina itself is well maintained and offers a great up-market vista from waterside view rooms. Puerto Rico itself is ok, we stayed a week and had run out of things to do towards the end of the holiday. Once you’ve walked along the coast to the next cove and visited both small shopping centres unless you’re happy on a congested beach or propping up a bar (plenty people will be !) then to a great extent that’s everything done. Recent trips to other Canary Islands have told us that Playa Blanca in Lanzarote and Playa de las Americas in Tenerife offer more.

Very nice hotel with a lovely pool .nice restaurants .nice quiet area .and the marina view from our room was fantastic.only down side was no bar area to sit in the evening and have a small meal or snacks it was nice to have an adult only section with jacuzzis

We have just returned from our 4th fabulous visit to Marina Suites and have rebooked again today for March. We are are always made to feel welcome and appreciate the glass of fizz on arrival. The view from the 8th floor over the marina is fantastic,both day and night.The rooms have everything you need and are spotlessly cleaned daily. I require a gluten free diet and the staff are very good at providing bread etc for breakfast.My only wish is if i could have a gf beer at lunch which is sadly not available. All the staff are friendly and do a fantastic job of looking after us on our holidays. We are looking forward to seeing you all again on our next visit.
